They do make Berkley Big Game RED Monofilament Fishing Line. Max breaking strength is 25#, I know you use 40#, another issue is they only make it for UK. So shipping will be expensive. They do make a Coastal Brown Big Game 40# and can buy anywhere.

You’ve been to NY, and you know how those people are.. Well I was born and raised in Upstate NY. Grew up in cowtown and have been hunting and fishing since I was a tike.. From Salmon, to walleye, to pike through the ice, and pushing my beagle through the hedge for a clean shot.. My staples in the winter growing up were Coho, and venison.. So don’t group New Yorkers for what you’ve seen downstate..
