probably one of the best trainers i've ever watched, some of those men and women can be so rude and douchy. this guy is super motivating and put a smile on my face. the workout was awesome too, about to become my regular routine
@anza13824 жыл бұрын
By far the best trainer I have come across. I have done Month 1 and Month 2 and now back to Month 1. I will still do Month 2 again before changing the routine. I will definitely come back to this again. The best take away for me has been not to give up - the body is nowhere near exhaustion when the mind tells me to stop.

I've recently started this STRONGER workouts, first month, and I absolutely love them!!! Nicky Holender is awesome and totally encouraging when I feel like I. Just. Can't. Do. It. Any. More...but I can. It's a challenge and I love it. Not only do I these workouts I hit the gym as well. I've seen transformation in my self in a month than I've seen hitting the gym in two months. All I can say is....Thank You, Thank You, Thank you. You have the slightest clue how this has helped me out.

I'm on day 26 of Stronger Livestrong challenge, and have to admit.. It's been the most. I've lasted and it's mostly because I like HIIT. I didn't like it before, but it was because Nicky keeps you thinking of your goals. And that always helps. So, I'm removing my post baby weight, and I'm thankful for the challenge. I do have to curve somedays, because I'm into chocolate, but I feel so much better when I don't eat it anymore, those days have gone from lots to everyday and now, from almost no days. I prefer working out to eating chocolate. hehe. Thanks. I can't wait for next week.

Like!! I wish there was LOVE!! My only question is how do you come up with such fresh moves? I have been excercising forever and it was so nice to come across a motivating cheerful instructor with new moves so it was fresh. I like how you talk about your kids moving and regaining that love for just having fun moving

LivestrongWoman Never understood the reason to differentiate between training for women or men. One could maybe say that men tend to prefer weight training while women cardiovascular, however this is still a preference and not a standard to be followed. Whether male or female if a type of training interests you, then there is no reason to hesitate because of your gender.

SAEB women have cycles of menstruation, no one ever made longway training for women with considering this cycles - 2 weeks intense workout, 2 weeks slowmotion like yoga, pilates

Tong Gorokh My comment was more on a workout and not a program.However you are obviously right; I remember a programme that was written about how to structure a programme in accordance to the phases of the menstrual cycle.

I arrived at the STRONGER workouts in my never ending quest to "mix it up". As a 6+ mile/day runner, my body even adjusts to that and it ceases to be a weight control workout. Won't give up running, but always looking to start my day with a shorter workout to "shock the muscles" Like anything, if you did these workouts every day long term you would stop getting weight control benefits. There are some reckless moves for tender shoulders, knees, etc. Know yourself and substitute or modify even if you're in great shape, as with any free online workout - there are many to explore - and keep changing it up! Try Fitness Blender for a switch out. STRONGER is only a 30 minute portion of what should be at least 60 minutes daily exercise.

believe me. Join livestrong. Even if it's to keep your weight steady, or put on some muscle, the livestrong challenge helps. Believe me. I'm starting to recognice myself after 2 years of poor living because I thought I had to, and I didn't have to..I'm a first time mom, and this really helped me. I was too ashamed to go back to the gym, I couldn't even move because I felt like I shouldn't anymore, I'm a single mom, I went through a lot, all I can say is he's the best, and they know what they're doing.

Great workout! I really enjoyed it all and it challenged me a great deal! Didn't love that you kept talking about kcals. That isn't everyone's goal for working out and it can be detrimental to people who love exercise but are fighting obsessive calorie counting, eating disorders, body dismorphia, etc. Getting healthier, stronger, having more energy. This should be the goal.

I was wondering if this series is similar to that of Jillian Michaels. Her workout videos are my all time favourite, but unfortunately (or happily) I am starting to find them easy. What is the level of this work out compared to, say, Jillian's Body Revolution?

I want to add that I am more into strength training than cardio. 4/2 Strength/Cardio ratio is what I am looking for.

Ayşe Kaya These videos are interval based, which means that they become as hard as you make them (jump higher, run faster etc). obviously you will reach a level where they will become easier, which is why they created the harder version called Explosion. This video is a part of a series for a 2 month program, where you are supposed to exercise 6 times a week. Where each weekday has its own training video. - Cheers

I'm a ball hockey player -competitive hockey in hockey arena on a cement floor. I know about the great benefits I could get as a hockey player thanks to polymetrics. Ball hockey often involves sudden, unexcepted, quick movements from left to right, backwards, and forwards for a few seconds only, followed by a stop for a few seconds, and several-second sprint to catch up with the player with the ball. I'm the slowest guy on my team, probably because of the extra weight I'm carrying. My problem is that I am about 25 pounds overweight, so the knees may become an issue with the jumping. I would do like Katy in the video, meaning not jumping, just raising the knees. Also, the push-ups is going to be an issue. I can hardly do 4 regular push-ups. My wrists really hurt when doing push-ups. Very uncomfortable. Maybe I'm doing them wrong?

hi.. how are you supposed to do these workouts. start with FIRE, then second day iron and so on or do FIRE for a week. am asking as i did FIRE , IRON, SOLDIER on altenate days in a week and could not even get into 10 minutes of ignition
@dubitablymarie4 жыл бұрын
Ignition took me a long time to get into. You're supposed to do one video per day, six days a week. (Fire, Iron, Soldier, Refuel, Ignition, Soldier again.) For four weeks. Then there's a separate series of Month 2 videos. Start by attempting every exercise of Ignition and don't worry about going as fast as they are. Or follow the person who isn't doing the jumps. You're doing great and you'll get all the way through Ignition in no time!
