We continue to explore Las Perlas islands during lockdown in Panama. The rainy season was approaching fast, but that didn't stop us making the best of the situation.
We spent our days free diving, spear fishing, living off the land and meeting an amazing sailing community that was around. We are very grateful to be in such a privileged situation in times like this!
SV Parlay is a hurricane damaged 2012 Lagoon 450 Catamaran bought in Tortola, BVI at the beginning of 2018. Colin and his friends spent 4 months getting her seaworthy, before setting sail across the Caribbean. Follow our journey as we continue to fix her and eventually circumnavigate the globe!

These videos are really amazing. I grew up sailing and always wanted to sail around the world but.... it is not meant to be for most people because as easy as you make it look, I know how hard it really is. I often think about the guy who owned the boat before you and I really hope he is happy that his boat is now being used to it's fullest. Watching these videos has been such a treat, you do a great job of editing and making it seem like we are all right there with you.

Suggestion: I wish you would do episodes featured on the people you meet. It can either be a bonus episode or just be one of the weekly episodes, probably depending on how interesting the content will be. Do a tour of the person’s boat, how they decided to go on the water, where they’ve been, what they did on land, how they support themselves, adventures and different places they been. Something like that would be neat. Oh, and also, you haven’t done any kind of tour of the bedrooms in your catamaran.

Well after following & watching you guys for so long I did a week on a 31ft mono hull last week (Which didn’t see any sun just force 6+ in the Irish Sea, 15 hours and travelled 2ntm backwards due to tide strength)and I was due to take the RYA version of the ICC next week but due to Covid19 it’s been cancelled until 2021, Read somewhere that yachting is fixing things in exotic places well if that is fixing a leaking water heater of the coast of Wales in the Menai Straights then yep I am still up for it Keep on with what your doing. I love watching these videos and other sailing vlogs too but it's starting to become frustrating to hear you guys saying "while the world has crazy" or something similar. I'm not jealous of your situation only want to say that many of us are dealing with a difficult and, for many, frighting time. We are a small business and continue to work hard in making sure people stay safe, retain their jobs, keep a steady income to look after their families and hopefully save enough to follow their dreams. I'm not sure I would call that crazy.

Spear fishing is desastrouse way of fishing because humans will hunt the best specimen which are usually the alpha breeders so when they are taken out selectively by humans we remove the best breeding stock in the ecosystem with disastrous consequences in the species .
