So good dude, your QC stuff is insane. Lately every time I plug in and play I’m just blown away by how good it sounds. We’re playing When Wind Meets Fire as an opener at an up coming conference at my church. I was dialing tones for it yesterday and was just so inspired from how good it sounds. Thank you so much, I know I’ve told you so many times but man it’s a blessing.

You do such a great job explaining how you arrive at the tone. Thank you! I also really enjoyed the Devotion today, thank you. Sometime if you could show a shot of your inputs and outputs settings when you swipe down from the top. I find dialing that part in sometimes is different between presets. Thank you.

Thanks so much brother! My personal recommendation is not to touch those global settings in between presets. That's a fast way to have levels get away from you between presets. You should be able to achieve the same thing by adjusting the compressor volume as well as the output volume on the final EQ block. That way you don't endanger messing with the feel of the compressor. My Input Level and Output Levels are at 0db to make things easy to understand for everyone.

I am looking forward to hearing your take on the Fractalverse.... I am so close to bowing out and going QC because I feel that the fractal amps just don't take drives and wet effects before the amp well, even compared to HX. And to be clear I am not talking about external pedals, I am talking about within the platform itself. I see many in the P&W community go "all in" on FM9t but for maybe 6 months and the pull the plug. But maybe that is what all of us gear addicted do, on to the next shiny thing.... I have two ToneX sitting on my desk and as soon as I can get a weekend to spare I am going to try running them in the loop of the FM9 as my amps, but that would kind of defeat having an "all in one" solution.

I'll get the the Fractalverse SOON!! I've been plugging it in at least once a week to keep my mind on it and keep exploring the tones.

I will make wild guess... You really like guitars with humbucker - P90 combination :D

I mean...ya caught me!! But for real, I find it to be a really great fit for the style we play because you can get those full and searing lead tones with the bridge humbucker but get a gentler, yet still articulate, tone for the neck.

Are those Lambertones in the Duesy or Originals?

I really like the OG Duesy pickups so those are staying original!

What happens if you don’t use parameters and EQ? If i just depend on the volume of the drive or boost like stomp mode or scene mode.
@thetoneshepherd4 ай бұрын
Joseph, I'm a little confused by your question. Each drive capture was captured at a certain volume and gain level. By default these levels start at "5" on the QC but you can then tweak them to taste. I find adjusting the controls to be very helpful in achieving the tone the song calls for with the given guitar you're using.

I get that! How do save your parametric on scene mode? I adjusted what was necessary for each scene and pressed saved, however it stays the same for each scene mode..
