Wow, this is an amazing video! Gaining weight is a problem for so many! Trying to understand carrying extra weight is a really cool concept and video! The calories and meals were very interesting… enjoyed the mathing! Too bad Joel didn’t join you in the experiment for the day. This video was awesome and you are an awesome person. You really help lots of people with your content and knowledge. I think it would be interesting to see you (and hopefully Joel) try another experiment with wearing 8cm and then 15cm height increasing shoes one day each to see how that impacts you, your day and how you feel… most of it with random people but maybe one part of the day with people who know you to see if they notice anything.

Hey Zac! So I signed up for the Reset 30 and the VIP program. I received a welcome email with webinars that have expired so I wasn’t able to view them. I tried to email the alias that was provided for questions but got an automated email stating that the email alias I sent my questions to was essentially invalid. Any support would be awesome! Thank you!

Your 30 day challenge should be, gain as much weight as you can over 15 days, just eating and doing what you want. Then the next 15 days you gotta lose whatever weight you put on. Seen someone do it for a year and lose the weight to prove to clients you can choose to be overweight or choose to be a healthy weight.

For this entire video I was thinking about how many extra calories you probably burned from carry that weight vest all day
@RyanKry7 ай бұрын
at 10:30 where he explained the calculation for each kg of body weight gain increases his maintenance of calorie intake by 22, 5 kg gain 110 kcal increase in maintenance calories. For anyone thinking "is that it? I'm very hungry and at way too low calories, I was hoping I could eat a lot more than 110 kcal if I accepted to gain 5 kg and maintain from there to be less hungry" Worry not, he missed a crucial factor to add to the calculation. In reality, it is way more than 110 kcal. 22kcal increase per kg is just for your metabolic rate increase, but if you put on weight, any activity like walking, sitting, and standing up, gym, just standing on your feet doing nothing, going to work, groceries, laundry etc. You will burn more calories than you would, had you not gained any weight. Putting 5kg on makes a lot more difference than just 110 kcal increase for maintenance. Do not be discouraged if you are in that scenario, it is ok to lose your six pack for winter while you will be covering them with layers of clothing anyway and get lean for the summer. You don't have to suffer, stay lethargic, moody, and hungry year around. Put on 5-10 kg for winter, lose them back for summer and suffer 3-6 months instead of an entire year. You can eat a lot more when you gain weight.

Also I find the 200 extra a day leading to that much extra weight hard to believe because I personally pretty much burn the same cals every day but I eat within a range of 400 (the min of that 400 I assume is my maintenance) but my weight stays the same

I don't see how you subscribe to all the CICO nonsense. If you ate 3000 calories of pasta for a year vs 3000 calories of steak for a year you would have completely different outcomes. All the math just isn't mathing. The thermic effect of food, BMR, cortisol (and other hormones), sleep, etc all play a role in weight gain and weight loss. Still adore you but the calorie stuff gets old.
