Hello friends,
Sadly, my China trip has come to an end. I had the best month abroad traveling, eating the most delicious food, and above all, cherishing precious moments with my family. I am immensely grateful for the love and support that this series has received. It truly warms my heart to see so many people relating to my content. Growing up as an Asian American in a small town, I often concealed this aspect of my identity. However, I now relish the opportunity to embrace vulnerability and share my authentic self. Moreover, I have long wanted to offer glimpses into Chinese and Vietnamese cultures, which I believe have not received the love they deserve on the internet. Thank you again for watching and until next time ♥️
xx,
Julia

I resonate with your caption so much ❤ I’m also a Chinese American living in a small town and I’m going to China in two weeks after 7 years as my post high school grad trip. I’m so excited because I get to enjoy it so much more now because I’m more confident in my identity. Amidst so much sinophobia right now, I really appreciate context creators like you who are giving insight into our motherland and culture!

What a beautiful series! My daughter and I watch you together and just wanted you to know that we are blown away by the opening montage, love the beautiful shot quality and were so impressed by the Surfshark ad. However, we wanted to thank you for creating another project that makes us feel- we felt your joy, disappointment, happiness and sadness with you over this trip-. Excellent work- every second!!

Loved this series so much, Julia. And so lovely to see you in a different environment. Made me cry seeing you leave your Dad. I’m a Daddy’s girl too and my Dad passed away in February, so for me personally, was very touching to see how you cherish him xxx hope you’re not too sad. You’ll be back with your family soon 💕

I have been so unmotivated in life lately. The urge to actually be productive has been very faint. But every time I watch Julia’s videos I’m reminded of the life I want to live. And that anything is actually possible, as long as you dedicate yourself to it. Thank you for your videos, Julia. They are truly inspiring and help guide me back to my priorities. I am genuinely grateful for you. Please never stop making videos (unless you want/have to! Your health is important as well!!). I look forward to more inspiring journeys. Sending so much love and light. 💕✨ PS: Have you ever thought about making a video about what inspires you or keeps you motivated and focused on your success/goals? I see you as a big sister, and that would honestly be really impactful. Just an idea. Thank you, sis! 😊

Thank you for your vlog. I miss guangzhou. It’s been 5 years since the last time I’ve been back. Your last part spending time with your grandma is so touching. My grandma passed away during COVID earlier this year and I will never see her again 😢. You definitely should go back and see her more while you can❤

Guangzhou is a group of cities developed by the first people in China's reform and opening up. It is very charming and has rich historical and cultural heritage. Guangzhou also preserves many ancient relics, making it a very charming city.

I know you may have used VPN to post on KZbin from China. Do you mind telling me which VPN you used? I have an upcoming trip to China soon and just want to make sure VPN works because last time ExpressVPN gave me lots of troubles. Also, have you called back US, from China on your non-Chinese mobile phone before? If so, could you please tell me how you dial to US? During my last trip to China, even tho I called AT&T before departing to make sure I would dial correctly back to US, I still could NOT get through the call. So if you had done it successfully, please share your experience to help me. Really appreciate it! 👍👍👍
