Glad to see you having fun. A helpful tip from a person whose had food at different restaurants at different times in my life and got food poisoning: If at 3 small bites it tastes off or your first thought is meh, don't eat it regardless of the situation. You'll get less sick at 3 bites, plus even though you feel bad cause of the experience, price, whatever, its not worth it to be ill. Too bad you guys didnt know what caused it, but thought I'd post it just in case for future reference.

Oh nooo getting food poisoning or getting sick in general on vacation is my worst nightmare! Especially when visiting a new city and there’s so much to explore and experience. Julia, I’m curious if you grew up with certain types of food you consume when you don’t feel well? For me it was always chicken broth with saltine crackers and mint tea.
