Living in Lakeside, Montana is very desirable. Lakeside is located on the west side of Flathead Lake about 5 miles south of Somers. Lakeside is home to the Blacktail Ski Area, Tamarack Brewery, and many other great recreational areas. Lakeside real estate varies from waterfront homes to large acreage in the mountains. The views around Lakeside are incredible and it makes Lakeside a great place to live.

Blacktail Ski area is actually open Wednesday through Sunday during the ski season, except for around the Christmas holidays. There is also a great public cross-country ski are up blacktail. Groomed and tracked regularly by a local organization.

I went to Tamarack Brewing several years ago. Good food and beer. The patio is awesome on a spring day.

Thank you for the video. Flathead Lake water level was higher than I expected this time of year. Maybe it was filmed earlier in the year. Kalispell seems like a pretty long bus ride for the high school kids especially with all the in-between drops offs. I assume Lakeside gets pretty quiet after the summer months.

I always wonder how safe those areas are for farming and living given the years of contamination from heavy mining and how realistic the Superfund cleanup was. Montana continues to be a good place for mining. Every once in a while you see a nice Montana listing but a small strip mine might be a short distance away.
