Hong Kong is going downhill. It's overpopulated, getting sinicized and most local people are thinking about leaving. It's definitely not the prosperous city we used to know.

Flying from Uganda to Hong Kong? It's another side of the world. How come he didn't go to places near to his home country for asylum? It'll be easier and less expensive than seeking asylum in Hong Kong.

There is no welfare system in the neighbouring countries so refugees and asylum seekers are just lazy and future welfare recipients. Whomever came up with this system was pazzo

I’m so proud to be an American. You can tell that young girl is going to be a very valuable member of our country! America is far from perfect but at my citizenship ceremony I was told that thousands of people from over one hundred countries were being sworn on that one day alone. Not too many countries can boast that!

I love America. Just imagine all those other countries that call themselves powerful but can't support refugees. Very sad.

Hongkong is very small, not perfect for refugees

So glad to have you in the US! Our country is lucky to have people like you. I think countries should be fighting for the privilege to host refugees, people who possess such strength and tenacity.
