I and my Pinay wifey met online... We have been very happily married for almost 8 years now!!! Getting to know each other with super long emails, phone calls, visiting her place and her family members, getting to know more about Philippines, and all the wonderful memories, especially our wedding with over 500 guests and our dinner celebration party, the major of our city was there too ... OMG!! Life cannot be better than this!!! We just know when we meet the right person. It makes every new day so much more enjoyable being with that special someone together. BTW, thanks for sharing with us your love story too. I and my wife also love watching your other videos which introduce the beaches in Philippines. Wishing we can visit those places too when our next vacation time comes! It is a swimmers' paradise there!!

Great video. I find it interesting that my now ex-girlfriend had pronounced Palawan as Pah-low-an -- not as Pal-a-wan, as I was lead to believe from documentaries about the Phils from WW2 (and in which my uncle had been wounded fighting the Japanese in Leyte, then later on in Manila, but unknown if he served on Palawan, too). You, my friend, are really, really lucky to have found your mate over there, and to tour these islands as you have with her. I served only at NAS Cubi Point, Subic Bay, during '67 -68, while aboard US Navy ships, and if only my later (failed) relationship in Manila in 2016 had worked out (!) So thanks for airing this, there's hope for me yet.

(Cenomar Cenomar) .....William here from the Canadian province of Ontario. Enjoying your wonderful story as well as others that i follow. Having said that I have been fact finding as much information as i can especially legally speaking. I would like to see you have your lovely companion provide a Cenomar certification from the Government (if she was married at any time this will be proof of her status ie: divorced). It is most serious because its jail for you if someone wants to tell the authorities. Some friends i follow cannot stress this importance enough. Then you can put it away and have the wonderful life together that the three of you deserve to have. I look forward to your vidoes as a window into what is possible. Take care

She seems very nice, sincere and down to earth in my opinion. If I'm right you are a lucky man. Now assuming there are complications, I've read it is possible to get a divorce after marriage in the Phils, but it has to be done overseas. Not sure if both parties need to be overseas or just one will do... but apparently the Phils do recognize divorce done overseas? I'm no expert, so maybe others can confirm.
@celtosaxon8 жыл бұрын

hi man, just saw ur channel and now subscribed to keep up to date with ur vlog, ur gf is gorgeous lucky guy, nice family life you got going good luck to you, wish I could stay there permanently also, but work commitments just cant do it so I stay 6 mths each year in Cebu, have a gf and a daughter whos coming up to 5 yrs old soon (yes shes mine), we live in Cebu which is nice, just wish I could stay all the time, but needs must, i'm like the OFW. but at least we have a house which I bought 5 yrs ago gotta be done when u have kids right. and saves a whole lotta cash then wasting it on rent. love ur vids very informative, ur a nice couple

@squaddieBrit8 жыл бұрын
yes, 6 mths rotation, tedious but better than wala...
@expatatlarge52868 жыл бұрын
If I may ask? Did it bother you that she had a kid already? Because I think that's a big commitment being with a woman who has kids especially here in Philippines where as if they don't earn a living the foreigner is expected to support them both and that's quite hard when all u wanted was a gf and all of a sudden u take on this big responsibility. Something like more than u bargained for.

Nope, didn't bother me at all. I knew from the first day that Ave had a kid as our relationship grew that it was a packaged deal. It also helped that her daughter is a very good girl. :) I feel like it's all part of the plan for me.
