interesting POVs. i was accepted last year, and will be moving there at the end of May 2023. my "right now goal" is to live there a year and just bank the funds and move to Belize afterwards. if i could find a tribe there (because i know NO ONE there), i'd be open to sticking around at least 2-3 years maybe. ultimately, i am just tired of living in the US altogether. my money would go so much further outside of the US.

I'm interested in applying. Do you think I have to have a concise purpose in what you want to do/how you want to contribute in Tulsa? Like, I do food system/justice work and I'm going to school for nutrition and herbalism. So I do want to contribute in that way but I would love to learn about real estate investment too and I'm open to learning more about a variety of topics.

You are required to live within the city limits. I shared that and a few other things in my 10 things to know about TR video. My fave neighborhoods are Brookside, Midtown, and Downtown.

Do you now pay state taxes in OK? Moving from Florida will be a salary cut due to taxes. Correct?

I do pay state taxes in OK given I'm a resident here. That's certainly something to consider moving from a state with no income taxes.

​@johnkelly1822 check Tulsa Race Massacre 1920/21. Also check Justice for Greenwood. The city hasn't done anything for North Tulsa/ Black Wall Street. Tulsa is my hometown. I'm 73 years young black female, which I haven't lived there for 30years. But I still visit. I know where midtown. Why not North Tulsa? Its awful what the city has done and divided highway native Black North Tulsa. They're not helping black North Tulsans from 1920. The money isn't happening since the massacre. I didn't hear anyone mention Justice for Greenwood. They're moving out Black business on Greenwood and homes. Gentrification, people not able to live in homes no longer.
