One of my fondest memories from when I was younger was going to my cousin’s house to sleep over. We had 10 kids and they had 12, and most of us had a cousin the same age. They had a large property with several empty buildings. We were able to get on the roof of one by way of an old chicken coop and a three story treehouse. My younger sister and I would convince the cousins that are our age to climb on the roof and then get the rest of the family gathered below, then we would put on plays that we wrote ourselves. Our family was kind enough to act like they enjoyed the plays, and surprisingly, none of us fell off the roof.

Hey Matt, I ordered my flannel pyjama bottoms from Rocky Mountain flannel company Black Friday! But those pants weren’t on special price or anything ! They sent them UPS and it is delayed because of the winter weather here in Ontario, GAYLE from the store sends me notes that UPS will be late. It’ll arrive tomorrow. Yes, they are very nice. Even online shopping. Kudos, PS: we can’t get the beef and salmon entrée from Wellness cat food ! The Pet Value guy said only in the western part of Canada ! Go figure! Masha in Welland ON ✌️

In my van, my heater has 2 vents, my heaters installed under the bed, 1 vent comes from under the bed and is directed towards the front, the 2nd vent blows towards the rear door, this creates a circulation of air over the bed and mixes with the draft , no more cold drafty rear door.. in hime construction, heater vents are placed under windows for the same reason

Extend the heater hose by the batteries under the bed to blow futher to the back. The residual heat from the hose should keep the batteries warm.

Hi Matthew I hear what you’re saying about the blankets across the back doors. We put ours up across the top with snaps and have it tucked underneath the mattress so it’s not in the way of our accessibility for under the bed from the back doors if it’s really cold, we drop it all the way down to the floor. I think if you gave it a try, you would be pleasantly surprised how much it really does help . The thing is to find one that fits in the space so you don’t have all this extra material and in reality at least the blanket would be snapped on there wouldn’t fall on the ground. When you open the door like your stuffing. we use one that has faux Sherpa on one side and keep the Sherpa near our heads so cozy Good luck stay warm.

Try hanging a moving blanket or quilt using strong magnets to cover the inside of the rear doors/windows. Tuck the other end under your mattress.

Hi Matt and Penny. It might sound odd but try wearing an infinity scarf round your neck at night. It stops the cold draught on your neck, keeps you warm. Even a light cotton one works. Game changer! Or.. wear one of your flannel shirts at night?

Maple and brown sugar is my go-to! A drizzle of that maple syrup on top of the plain oatmeal would be nice! 😋 After all the money and effort that you went to get the icing sugar and you didn't use it on your french toast - silly boy! I can relate to the frozen water. I always put a 4 litre bottle in my bed so I have water in the morning.i use an electric throw on the bed as well as a diesel heater but I don’t like to leave it running while we ( me and the dog) sleep. Always wear bed socks as well. Used to wear a hoodie, the electric throw keeps us toasty so far. When it gets super cold, I am sure the hoodie will *magically* reappear. Love that you are so relatable! I get odd camera angles too… and there are days that there is no amount of makeup that makes me camera ready..😅

It’s the barn doors same thing with suburbans when the cold weather comes in and it pushes on the back door. You can’t do a whole lot with it. I had troubles with my barn doors when it got really cold. There’s nothing to get around it. Maybe you could put extra seals back there, but that’s the only way to try to block the cold out butstill you cannot do a lot.

Use a bigger sturdy spring rod & hang yourself two thermal curtains across the back door to block out the cold air. Walmart has all of that. Thermal socks keep your feet warm. 😊

So i saw a video about using a pool noodle (a styrofoam tube with a hollow core used to help float in water) to direct heat from source to desired area...🤷‍♀️ small, light weight, flexible and chep enough try...I know, everybody just calm down with the DIY heating unsolicited advice and tips-n-tricks😅
