A tour of my teeny tiny apartment. It's pretty cool how an unremarkable little bachelor/studio apt. like this one can suddenly seem so chic if you simply start referring to it as a "microapartment". ;) "Microapartments, they're so hot now!"

Had to come back to this. I realized it approximates my personal perfection. EXCEPT. I'd have virtually none of the collected stuff. I once had an apartment with two front rooms, a bedroom, a kitchen, and a bath. And for about 6 years, I had no furnishings. I really needed 25 percent of what I rented except it was the cheapest rent in years. Moving to my next place was utter simplicity. Two furniture pieces. Later came to regret one of the two. Still have the rocking chair. Ken's cubic feet is ideal. But I just do not like to let things collect. Different strokes.

It is so true how I myself left many space taking furniture in the dust over the years. Less baggage and living more 'green' was the way for me also.

Can't believe how much STUFF you have there. You live in a very expensive city, but it hasn't prevented you from acquiring a lot. I lived in a very cheap city (luckily). With just about nothing in the spaces where I lived. Certainly no dresser. No table. Furnished residences at rock bottom rent. but "furnished" meant a long couch, bathroom, stove, and refrigerator. And it met my minimum wage needs. Bus service out the front door. Unliked the Moss Park guys, I had housing. Nobody lived in tent cities. "The good old days".

Cool video. I lived in something similar to this in Seoul when I was teaching there. Now I'm in a 475 sq foot bachelor with a large walk-in closet, large balcony (propane bbq ftw), utilities included, good sized kitchen and I have room for things like a double bed, couch + chair, dining table, large bathroom blah blah. It's amazing what an extra 200 sq feet can do for a space. All for $975/month right next Eglinton station. Not quite downtown but considering the price I'm certainly not tempted to go live in a micro apartment even if it's steps from the office I work in downtown. Still I think it's cool what you're doing and kind of miss my tiny Korean apartment.

I lived 12 years in a 200 sq foot office in Belfast. I had to sneak into the floor's bathroom at night to bathe, etc., . People now work from home, while back then I lived from work. You have certainly mastered you space. I am, however, a slob.

If the fridge is too large, consider an under-counter fridge. For additional counter space, place a cutting board over a small fridge.

This reminds me of some places in India. Never been there, but unlike the MOVIES, some homes have a very tiny fridge. Thing about fridges. Bigger they are, the more electricity they use.
