Do you think you could handle owning a private island on the Great Barrier Reef??
Well, I reckon we could! We ditched the van and spent 3 nights in a beach hut on Pumpkin Island off Yeppoon in QLD. And LOVED IT!!!!
We copped some stubborn weather so we didn't get to do any snorkelling but we had such a good time relaxing with a few wines at the sunset bar, cooking some delicious wood fired pizzas and exploring the island.
This place is for sale by the way.... So if you've got a cool 25 million bucks then your in with a shot!!

Love the whole thing, but the dead shark reminds me of my older brother chasing my sister down the beach with a massive flathead after he caught it at 1770. There were six of us kids and mum just told my sister she should’ve run faster as she couldn’t keep an eye on us all, all the time.

Hey Jason, Bec Try downloading Star Walk 2 to have a look at the stars using your iPad. I’ve got no affiliation with them but it really opens up the night sky. Was island shopping and noted this place is on the market. Very nice spot. Just a bit to small with not too much vegetation left on it> But for a developed location its great if you not looking to start your own thing from scratch.

@@TripInAVan Haha - yeah everyone now and then I'll look around the market. I work fully remote so always had a dream of having my own small island an making it sustainable and maybe even n resort/camp destination as secondary income. I love Aus but it and any fully developed tropical islands are pretty expensive. Georgian bay, Lake Ontario is very well priced. Some tropic areas like great priced as well but might be closed to smuggling routes :)
