I love your videos so much you’ve aspired me to actually push myself into car camping and I’m loving it so far your videos on all platforms are so comforting for me to watch :) I hope you have a great day and know that you are such a beautiful soul!

Tie dye and dog hair would be a great name for your memoir! 😆 I love your build and how you customized it to your and your dog’s needs. I’m doing that with my cat right now and it’s so much fun. Videos like yours remind me to get creative and find what works for me and my little crew

Have you looked at any of the 12V refrigerators? They can plug into your cigarette lighter thing and also should be able to run off of a jackery. They are a bit pricey though
@atticuscb2 жыл бұрын
Iceco fridges are really good. My brother and I have them in our overland setups, mine in my gladiator is a JP42 Series 3-1 in one, and he has a VL60 dual zone since he goes camping with his family. I got mine because he likes his. Mine has help up really well and I've even used it when my apartment lost power to keep the food in my fridge from going bad. JP series let's you use it as a fridge or freezer, or Cooler.

I have the JoyTutus 12v 23 quart fridge. I run it on my Bluetti EB70s battery. It works great and is a fraction of the cost of the domestic or iceco fridges. I bought mine on sale, but it's current cost is $260, the 26 quart one costs $270 in case you want a bigger one. I personally like its size since I can squeeze it in behind the drivers seat, and it won't move while driving.

Invest a little more money and get an AlpiCool or something like that but make sure it has a compressor. I have the 13 quart one and it works great, you can also turn the temp up and freeze stuff if you want. Runs off the jackery at night and the 12 V cigarette lighter in the car when I’m driving around

I have the dometic cfx3 45 liter. It’s a little pricey but honestly worth it! 45 liters is a bit of an over kill for just me but it was on sale. You can get away with the 35 liter and be totally fine! It’s super energy efficient because it shuts off once it’s cool enough and turns back on once it reaches a certain temperature.

It is also 12v so I run it off my 1500 JACKERY

I have a Setpower TC20 12 volt fridge that I like. It's louder than I wanted but it's also really insulated so the compressor doesn't run a lot and it doesn't use much power. I can run it for 2 days on my 500 watt hour battery on a single charge. That being said, I had to return about 5 or them to Amazon before I got one that didn't make weird sounds. All the ones before this one sounded like aquariums on top of the cooler noise. It was loud and weird. I kept trying though because the insulation is good and how low the draw is.

EMILY when you’re in Alaska you must check out Castner Glacier!! So freaking cool if you go make sure you go all the way to the back there’s a secret little lake. It’s sort of an army crawl to get there but the cave opens up at the end so gorgeous. Love ya

Question, how does your cooler not work? We’ve had ours for years and it keeps on going. Is it just not what you were wanting or literally not working? I ask because I might have some suggestions to look at it.
