Still sounds so great like the first time I fell in love with this song...and I am 46 now...keep going one of my favourite singers.. these were the times when music had meaning it was sung with love and emotion...still makes me cry...this was my song with my husband who passed on 11 years ago....I saw him live in my little country of 🇹🇹if I remember correctly after playing a song he would throw his guitar pin into the crowd..

Yes! I was fortunate to see Richard in concert in Peoria, IL when I lived there several years ago ago. He was awesome. Dan is from Peoria so I was able to attend 4 of his concerts. Both are wonderful song writers and musicians! This was when music was truly 🎶 🎵 🎼 music!

I'm a 44yr old male who lives and breaths the 80's.... Hence my screen name. Somehow, this popped in my suggestion list. I haven't heard Richard since the 80's but he was always a guilty pleasure of mine. I loved everything he put out .. simply because his music was true to his artform no matter what was popular at the time (looking at you hair metal). Summer of 1988, I listened to songs from this album constantly. Fell in love to them for the first time. Endless summer nights still takes me there. I have always appreciated that you write your own songs and your love for Eagles music and that you even worked with some of them. Great song right here. “Should Have Know Better” is one we can all relate to and enjoy. You sound better than ever! I am currently listening to your new songs on Spotify. Iam saddened by your loss, but happy that Richards music brings comfort to you in difficult times. I will be forever greatful that I got to see Richard in Sydney in 2019, it was a amazing night. The songwriting in the 80's and early 90's was just soooo good. The few opening bars to "Right Here Waiting" is still one of just a few pieces I can play on piano to this day.

One of the most under appreciated artists in the last 30 years. Not only are his songs timeless but he looks and sounds exactly the same as when these songs were recorded. It drives me nuts when people make excuses for singers that no longer sing good. Richard Marx is proof that a good singer is a good singer at ANY age. The key is taking care of your instrument which he clearly does. Kudos Mr Marx!

I remember you playing this song on campus at Michigan State University (probably in 1991 or so), and you introduced it by saying you kind of didn’t want to play this song anymore because you had finally moved on in life to a happier place ... However, you also knew your fans ADORED this song and wanted to hear it, which made us all cheer wildly ... Well I’m still cheering! LOVE this song for so many reasons, and because it takes me back to what was the happiest time in my life! This has definitely gotta be one of the most coolest videos I've ever seen. He's doing it in the same key it was recorded. It might be the best live version I've seen. I really appreciate it. This song came out during a time where the 80s recording engineering was at it's peak (from 1987 - 1989). Great stuff and a long time comin' up to then from the 70s.
