Professional makeup artist here! Yes, those are cool tones. No, you do not have hooded eyes. You DO have deep set eyes. Focus the smokiness closer to the outer lash line than the crease. If eyeliner scares you, wet that angled liner brush with some setting spray and smudge right on your lash line. OR use the pencil to tight line under the lashes. Your skin might be too dry for a powder foundation. Look for a tinted moisturizer for a bit of coverage.

@@ChelseaCallahan hi chels, i also did makeup professionally years ago. If you have dryer skin on some days, try to have better skin prep prior to applying makeup. Like use a heavier moisturizer. It's game changing! 2nd tip: for events where you'll get photographed, do not use sunscreen as it has titanium oxide which can cause flashback on photos! Theres great skin blur/tint products in the market now like Huda Beauty Skin Blur or the Fenty one. Kudos on being so open into trying new things! Love love love all your content 💞🥺

I’ve watched you for so long Chelsea and I never comment. I doubt you’ll see this. But I was single living in New York for well over a decade, some of the happiest, best, worst times of my life. I grew up in New York and found myself. Now I suddenly find myself married with two babies living in the suburbs. My life could not be further from yours and I find so much comfort and nostalgia in your videos. No one captures regular single girl New York life like you do. Girl! You looked WOWSA in that dress! A suggestion re your catbox so you don’t have to vacuum so much….we have 2 cats we adopted together 8 years ago. We bought one of those high-sided large clear plastic storage bins and put cat litter in it, and they both share it. Have done for years, no accidents. Works great. And because the sides are high, stays cleaner around it. 32x16x11(high).

I, too, use a really big clear storage box as a litter box. I have been challenged by high pee-ers that used to just lift their tushes as they urinated, resulting in peeing right over the top of the box. Now the storage box is high enough to contain the antics. It requires a ton of litter to keep it deep enough, but it's working great. I've been doing it this way for many years now and would never go back. I cut a hole in one of the long sides to make an entry. Don't know why litter box makers haven't figured this one out. Covered boxes don't solve this problem because the seam where the cover meets the tray is too low and the pee just goes through it and down the outside, and top-entry boxes aren't for every cat, especially large or older ones. Sorry for the dissertation, but maybe it will help somebody.🙂

As a fellow blue eyes girly. Warm browns, copper, terracotta colours make our eyes pop. I swear by jewel tones, the goals is to make my eyes as blue as possible. Also try white eye liner on your water line, it also brightens your eyes. 💙 Also, I’m just figuring this stuff out, and I’m almost 53. 😉

Omg, rolling around on the floor with babies is the best!!!!!! Tip: instead of eyeliner just use the darkest brown eyeshadow shade and apply that along the lash line with a thin brush. 👍🏻 That dress looks FABULOUS. Maybe you can buy it at a discount from them. I highly recommend a eyeshadow primer before. It looks way way better then. Also I can't to an eyeshadow line under the eye. Just looks wrong. You are not alone 😂

Oh Chelsea, I so appreciate your videos! As a 34 y/o woman who has never been able to master makeup beyond basic foundation (usually BB cream or powder) and mascara, I can't tell you how much it means to me to see you showing yourself struggling with a tutorial (and succeeding btw!) to do makeup that some people might find simple! Since entering my 30s I have found that I care way less about what people think about me, but that doesn't turn off my own internal dialogue which can be way more hurtful, and so watching you being so vulnerable in your videos brings me joy and peace internally. Keep doing you Girl! You're the best! :D

I have two kittens a little older than yours and yours look so chill and calm, mine are CRAZY!!! They won't even let me pet them too much becasue they need to play constantly! Like when you pet Deli and she ran away, that's what mine do every time I try to pet them. They don't really cuddle unless they are super tired and sleeping-They are really sweet and want to be around me just aren't calm and cuddly. I hope they mellow and chill out in time and become more affectionate. If anyone reads this and had an experience of having crazy kittens getting more chill and cuddly as they got older please reassure me!!! I lost my two senior SUPER cuddly cats prior to getting these two kittens, Romeo and Gertie Bell and Im missing the affection and connection I had with my last two. Anyway, I really enjoy your vlogs!

After they got spayed the usually get a little calmer. As for become more affectionate some cats never get a taste for it but usually when they pass 3-5 years of age they become more mellow and cuddly.

Totally had a crazy playful kitten. Took a couple years but he did allow more petting and cuddles. Still quite playful though.
