AGREED. Harvesting animals for food is about respecting a life (provided it's done with respect). I traveled through Romania and Moldova and had the privilege of learning what it takes to make my meat supermarket ready. So much more process than I would have thought. Any aspiring food lover or meat eater needs to at least respect the care and consideration that goes into the process. But I'm probably preaching to the choir, so all the love to my kindred spirits 🤓😘

As a Romanian and mushroom enthusiast, having done what you are doing in the video with my family since I was a child, I can confirm it is a tradition shared not only but the Romani (Țigani) community, but by a big number of people who have had an authentic relationship with nature ❤️ Only point I want to raise is, scarcity can be built up, unfortunately. Collecting too many mushrooms may lead to certain areas becoming less and less fruitful over years, collecting the little baby mushrooms before they get to lay their spores isn't maybe the best of things, although it is generally considered that the baby ones are the delicacies many times. Find the balance! 😁 Keep being peaceful and fearless and be authentic and connected to Nature! Rock on! ❤️😁❤️

Best vlog I have ever seen. We have much to learn from Roma people. Of course some of them get into troubles but that is because they don't give up their freedom. They are a model for entire world. I respect their courage and love for family. We, Romanians, have lost this love for family, lost our courage, forgot our culture.

What an awesome adventure in Romania! I would love to do that someday, forage for mushrooms (with trained professionals, obviously). Liliana and Valeriu seem like wonderful people and it was really awesome to see how you all took to each other despite the language barrier. Beautiful stuff, man. And what you said about us being disconnected from the reality of where our meat comes from is so true. An eye-opening reminder that the chicken cutlets in the vacuum-sealed packages in the frozen food aisle were once part of a living, breathing animal. Thank you for sharing that. I bet the moment that followed can't have been easy, but it certainly drove home the point you made just moments earlier. On a brighter note, how stoked was that kid who thought for a second that you might give him some of your coffee? 🤣Haha, and the volcanic plug at the end is so cool! I believe we have a famous one here in the States--Devil's Tower in Wyoming. I always had a thing for geology growing up. Looking forward to the next adventure, my man! 🐉🐉🐉🐉🔥

I hardly grew up able to pick my own food - but man I lived outdoors as a kid - all I ever wanted to do was build forts, practice my slingshot climb every tree I could find. And I used to do flips on the bed just like that boy. And I can’t help but feel that they’re living a better life than kids who grow up only knowing the sounds of an iPad, only knowing of farms from computer games. Never having to face fears, inevitably get hurt and realize it’s not that bad, not picking up on the cues of natural life and how it all ties together. I’m so happy I saw this.

As it's said ... Life begins when you step outside of your comfort zone. This guy's life is abundantly full bc he's lives that way💯❣️👏👏👏 We shouldn't judge what other cultures eat... When we have the likes of McDonald's..🤦 n grocery stores... We don't provide ourselves with the fruit veggies dairy or meats we eat. We purchase. ( Talkin the majority of people I realize there are some people who live off the land & kudos to you if you're doing that in America) So who are we to judge any one living anywhere on how they eat or how they obtain what they eat. I find this channel and his travels.. Maybe the most interesting and educational channel on KZbin.
