Livingdeadgirll Yes, Doug and I had really tall mohawks. We helped each other spike our shit. The worst part was the car ride down town. It was nice in the summer when we would just ride in the back of Stacey's truck to The Masquerade, or little 5 points, or The International Ball Room, or wherever we were going. And I am not joking about Liberty. More government equals less Liberty every time. Never allow yourself to become part of a life support system for government. That's some serious product you've got there! in the 80's we used soap 1st, then crimpers, then loadsa back combing, followed by a tall can of eithet ellenett or boots firm hold hairspray! mind you it did, together with regular peroxide & amphetamines, make mine snap off then eventually fall out! (not a concern at the time we expected the planet to be nuked any day) so at 51 I'm just happy to dye & crimp my hair. I'm plucking up the courage to get a tattoo on my bald patch but can't decide what! any ideas are welcome? great look you two! let the tribe increase! Hessy 💀 ❤ 👽 💚

Barely wet glycerin soap also works just fine (it's an old school trick since we punks didn't have much money to spend on hairspray fixers back in the 80's and they were expensive as fuck back then)! lol 😉

I never found it worthwhile to do do this without knox on hair that tall but thats fuckin sick good work. I think with two people knox would have been a lot faster for yuh. you need to tease the hair and hair spray the inside a little bit and hairspray the outside in light coats, hairdrying hairspray isnt the best thing for you hair. Cool look though

+Trilogy Hemp thank you for your advice! we have found MUCH more damage with the teasing method so we stay far far away from it! also, it takes a lot longer to achieve a very similar look! we go for more of a sleek appearance. this was the first time JP had ever spiked hair of this length, so the little one in the back that didnt stay up was merely from taking too small of a section! other than that every single spike stayed up perfectly through the night!
