I think it's so important what you said about mamas taking a book or reading resource with them while kids play outdoors. If all our kids do is see us scanning our phones, that is not good! ☺️ I'm becoming conscious of this and trying to step away from my phone as much as possible, especially in front of my kids, it helps me be more present.

All great ideas for things to do outside! We do all of the these. We aren’t tracking but I bet mine spend 1,000 hours outside each year.

Thank you for these tips. I’m going to try them out. We live in a rough neighborhood and have a park with a playground down the block but sometimes we can’t go because of the presence of sketchy people and mentally unstable homeless. These tips sound doable for our fenced in front yard. ❤️

Larissa if you have not already found A Commonplace on KZbin, you should definitely check her out. You two are a match made in homeschool heaven. She also does CMEC and I believe she has a daughter the same age as your oldest. Anyway, both of you are some of my favorites❤️

I agree. I love watching both of them. I have learned so much about Charlotte Mason through them both.

Огромное спасибо за советы. Предлагаю еще ходить на рыбалку или за грибами и ягодами. Очень классно переночевать в палатке где-нибудь недалеко от дома и утром вернутся домой.

What to do in Texas when it’s over 100 and actually not safe to be outside for several months and you live in the city with no yard 😭

Hey, how would you encourage outside time in the UK winter (rain, wind, chill!) x
