Traffic choke points: I-25 from the Boulder Turnpike to Thornton Parkway. It is a nightmare for that short distance. Having I-270, I-76, I-25, the Boulder Turnpike, and 84th Avenue all intersecting within 2-1/4 miles is just stupid. 3-lanes is not enough. Ok, so there's a 4th lane but it is a toll/HOV lane. The south end of I-25 certainly can be a cluster, but at least it has many lanes to deal with the traffic.

This gentleman's video is geared toward a certain demographic of people... Namely, folks in a certain price point for him to sell houses. He is not being accurate in his description of I-25 traffic and he's highlighting certain areas of the front range where housing is considered more affordable - for an average home buyer. (except for Boulder, of course, but you gotta have a high-end price point too...) There is a reason places like Littleton, Highland's Ranch, SE Aurora, and Parker are more affordable. It's because I-25, 475, and 70 are parking lots a good portion of the day and the commute is longer - sometime much, much longer. Also, I would not consider Littleton, Parker, or Highland's Ranch part of the metro Denver area. They are there own cities (municipalities) that are part of the front range. Just like most people, as far as I have experienced, wouldn't consider Boulder part of the "metro Denver" area. The way this gentleman frames this information is to sell houses. Now... should you NOT buy a house in one of the a fore-mentioned places? No. They are nice communities (okay Boulder can get a little precious) but just understand that this guy has a bias to sell houses. Get on some local city/community forms and ask questions. Take what this gentleman states with a grain of salt.

Personally I would only consider areas that have the RTD or other public transport connecting to it as the Denver Metro. Many people like to include Castle Rock to that but I feel its still a little too far out of the way to be considered part of the metro. Hell if Denver didn't have quite a few buses connected to Boulder I wouldn't even consider Boulder as part of the Denver metro area. This is only my opinion of course and Castle Rock is growing in size quite rapidly, it won't be long until even without public transportation that it will eventually connect to areas that I consider part of the Denver metro area via other cities or towns growing in size as well. Castle Pines for example is probably the biggest obstacle which i find a bit ironic considering that Castle Pines I've heard used to be part of Castle Rock but decided to split and do its own thing. I sort of feel unless Castle Pines chooses to grow that it would impede Castle Rock from connecting to areas like Lone Tree which I consider part of the Metro area. Hell Parker I feel is only partially part of the metro because a big portion of Parker doesn't seem to have public transportation, despite this Parker still sort of connects to Aurora and Centennial, possibly even Higlands Ranch due to the borders shown on google maps iirc.

For example drive down Federal blvd and right about after colfax you will encounter a lot of signage in spanish for many blocks until Evans blvd. And the same examples apply to certain areas in Aurora, montbello area, commerce city etc. Where you will see alot of hispanic stores taco trucks kind of just across the border vibe. And also just recently we just got about 70 thousand new Venezuelan migrants. But don’t worry there is plenty of areas that are mostly completely white folks. There is not much Black African American areas like many other cities. I live in the montbello area that is 70% hispanic.

🤦🏼 So unscrupulously deceptive. Traffic is 3x your claims during rush hour, crime is rampant, prices are unaffordable, the market is overpriced and limitedly available. You should be ashamed of yourselves for promoting a false image of Denver to take advantage of uninformed buyers. Viewers should check a crime rate map to understand how misrepresented the city is in this video. Then remember they don't prosecute many drug and vagrancy issues. Moving here is most popular amongst homeless drug addicts. If you're looking for fetanyl needles on your sidewalks, keep following these jokers.

I live in south east aurora and takes me 15 min to get to my gym in downtown... literally right next to city hall and all. Dispo is 20 min also in dt, my favorite food places are about 25 min with traffic. Driving 45 min to get anywhere in cali is a pain, 45 here gets me from DIA to red rocks 🤣

I don’t believe it!! You must be taking about driving at 2am…. No way to get from SE Aurora to downtown Denver in 15 minutes…

@@JJJJ-xn6cw I agree. I live in Southeast Aurora too. It just took me 15-20 to drop my car off at the GMC dealer on Havana, by Costco. No way could I get downtown in that time. Maybe this person is going super early in the morning or late at night.

"Moving to Denver, avoid these 5 areas" proceeds to talk about everywhere around Denver... skipped around to get what i came here for and was offered by the title, couldn't find.

Please don't tell even more people to move here. This area has turned to into an absolute horror show with all the out of state people lately. God help us.
