As a Greek. I have never heard your argument uttered by a single Greek. And I would point out under centuries of Ottoman rule many Greeks (and others) were assimilated into Turks so of course there are going to be some similarities between Greeks and Turks (especially on the western side of Turkey), And before you say it, no Greeks are not assimilated Turks. Assimilation was one way under the Ottomans due to apotasy carrying a fine of ones noggin being detached.

Most Bulgarians are bad at articulating the language bit. We're proud not only because Cyrillic was developed in medieval Bulgaria, but also because we were the first to *codify* and *standardize* a Slavic language, but nobody is stupid enough to think that the rest of the Slavs were mute and using sign language before that point. Speaking of cyrrilic and glagolithic, I remember the time from my college days(2nd year) when they taught us to read both of those, and a few historical documents(one of which was ofc Kulin Ban's Povelja), a fun fact here, the medieval slavic sounded almost exactly the same as modern bulgarian and russian. Still on slavics, I stand by the notion that medieval balkan slavs were way more honest ppl than ones today. Ottoman rule really did a terrible number on us.

In Poland around 2016-2018 there was this musical rap group called "Gang Albanii" (Albanian Gang) in which there was 0 albanians. The group risen to popularity mainly due to making party/vulgar songs targeted mainly but not only to young teenagers, which became a meme at one point when there were videos of primary or even pre school children singing their songs with slur words on the internet. They sold red balaclavas with an Albanian emblem on it too and they split after 2 albums I think. Not connected to nationalism but the video reminded me of this bizzare project. I'm to this day puzzled why they've specifically chosen the Albania as from what I remember there was literally no cultural connection or references. The frontman of the group was artist named Popek. He has a twisted life story and been a controversial figure for ever, the rabbit hole goes deep (he been in a lot of controversy lately too) and they made a documentary about him on Vice at one point.

Let me make a summary to you. Macedonians and Bulgarians are the same and they're both wrong about who they are. They're Slavs talking the same Slavic language. Literally the same, but Bulgarians pretend they're Turks, although they hate Turkyie, while Macedonians pretend they're Greeks, although they hate Greece. The only thing Bulgarians and Macedonians have in common with Turkyie and Greece is that the former hate each other, just like the latter. The latter are more sane though, because they are at least different from each other. Moving on. Serbia, Croatia, Bosnia and Montenegro are the same, they all speak the exact same language, but they are of different religions, so naturally, they hate each other. Amazing video, as always! As a Bulgarian I laughed so hard. As an equal parts slavic, thracian and bulgar descendant I cannot agree more, that our people (as in MY ancestors) brought civilisation to most of Europe (and Asia for that matter).
