Mother Nature is not a member of PETA…..everything dies. Sarah and Kevin’s animals have a wonderful, Garden of Eden life. They have a steady food supply, which is not always the case in the wild. They’re treated with affection and respect and are protected from predators. Death by a predator would be a much harder and more terrifying death.
@robertpaul50n3 жыл бұрын
When you cram people together in cities, you have to cram animals into factory farms. If most people lived like these, all farm animals would have a good life. I doubt it will happen though, because it's hard work.

I don't know why people are taking my compliments in the wrong direction but it's really unnecessary to be so negative. I love this family, their values and their work ethics. I've always thought they looked just fine but lately they both are looking fit and glowing. (Not that they never were before. It's just really noticeable lately). So those that are being negative please stop. Let's not fill the comments up with it. Be positive and give compliments to one another. It really does fill good to be nice!!

You can even let the milk sit in the bucket a few more days so it ferments/curdles a little more. It’s good probiotics and helps them digest their feed better. The more solid the curdles the easier/faster they will eat it…instead of having to drink it.

Greetings from 🇬🇧 Everything looking good on the farm👍🏻 Have you thought about perennial climbers for the shade arches for the chicken run? Something like kiwis - we’ve got hardy kiwis 🥝 that grow in nothern England called Issai' Hardy Kiwi Plant - produces small smooth kiwi fruit. They’re a climber with lots of leaves. Also there’s always grape vines - we have hardy varieties in the U.K. but you do have to protect roots against freezing in the winter with fleece blankets. Perhaps fast growing veg like runner beans,French beans, peas and mange tout (ones with climbing habits) might work or perhaps Malabar spinach (Basella alba) which is a climber too. An alternative could be to create willow arches. But they take a while to grow and mature but could be something for future planning. Eventually could crop for willow wands for basket weaving - new hobby/cottage industry 😂
