Family_Room Roku yes because he was driving 4kts if he would give a little bit more gas for example to 10-12kts the bow would gow up and there is no problem.. just driving skills the concept of the boat is amazing! :D

Definitely agree...my father had a '89 I believe it was during my childhood thru teenage years and it was put through some insane conditions over the years. The ~260hp from the merc. was pretty damn stout compared to the insane hp numbers boats are running nowadays. Most definitely had a lot of fun, made lots of great memories and spent a lot of time...and blood sweat and tears...with that searay...awesome, awesome boat

I own a HCB 53 seunos with qaud marine 7 627, That capt needed to put a Lil throttle to it and it would have cut those waves like butter. He was makeing it worse by pussy footing it.

That HCB 53" Dreams, is an incredibly nose-heavy boat. Giving it moderate speed and trim up will help getting thru those chops. But it doesn't eliminate the fact that it's a poorly designed boat, balance-wise. Must also be a very "wet" boat at cruising speed with rear quarter seas.

A lot of people from Europe criticize the lack of a speed limit, but going too slowly is the more common mistake I keep seeing in what amounts to a highway on-ramp to the sea. No life jackets seems to be a Miami thing, and I don't get that either. Sometimes, it is an expression of arrogant self-confidence.

Confiscate that 53' with extreme prejudice!!!!!!!!!!...Fine that captain 1.5 mil for incompetence!!!...Send this clip to their insurance company!!!!!..If ever there was a time for the water PD in reference to a public hazard!!!!!!...Boat need to file suit for defamation and physical abuse; hell, the Ocean and the inlet needs to file suit, ADD A COUPLE ONLOOKERS AND MAKE IT A CLASS ACTION!!!!...Manufacturer needs to void all warranties!!!!!!!!!....I think his wife should take that as a hint!!!!!... Moral of the story, while you await delivery of your toy, spend an extra 5 or 10k with an experienced captain for hands on training in not so comfy conditions, or even better, make it a stipulation in your purchase agreement / contract. Love the videos, keep up the good work!!!!!

Can someone enlighten me as to why Florida boats overwhelmingly are center pilot, walk around with no covered or private space? Many of them have almost no place to keep dry if it was raining. I'm guessing that enclosed areas get super moldy and stinky. My last boat had a v-birth so I'd throw a fan in between the two front seats and leave the fan on with the cover on. It never smelled bad. But boats in Florida have a tougher life with all the heat and humidity I think. Thank you! I totally love the Florida style boats btw...especially the powder blue with matching engine covers...gorgeous!!

I am surprised to see all these big boats with outboards. For sure you would get a better balance if you use an I/O. I mean putting 4 or 5 huge outboards on your transom can not be good for the balance of the boat? I have a 25' with an I/O and love the way it moves in waves, no surprises. When you are beyond that size, you have the space for inboard/outbard. Like that Dream 53', to me it seems to need a more positive trim and higher speed, but I am not sure it would solve the problem because of all the weight it carries on the transom...
