I went up the entire West coast from Southern California to Washington, in early August 2022. Our paths almost crossed at some point. I didn't get, due to bad timing, see some of the more interesting trees off the Avenue of the Giants. So I was glad to see your video. Northern California and Oregon are amazing places. I'm from Merced, California and went to the Redwoods many times. In 1990 we camped in the Redwoods for our family reunion. In 2010 was the last time my mom and I went to the Redwoods, traveled from Washington state (where I still live). So it was nice to see those familiar places again, thanks for the memories.

i drove thru that tree in 1972 fiftyyears ago when i was 15. my dad got his divorce papers read them and one hour later we left chicago heading east on 80 to cali to see the redwoods. a 69 ford just bearly squeezed thru. we had to take the mirrors off

Oh my GOD this was beautiful, what an experience that must have been. Here in Louisiana we have giant cypress trees, but they would dwarf next to those trees. Thanks so much for this great video. Looking forward to the next one.

I love the sound of trains, but Vinnie wears earplugs. While in Monte Carlo I bought a 5 euro chip as a souvenir, but gambled $20 in Canadian. We loved Smith Rock State Park. We did the loop hike along the river. There were some mountain climbers there the day we visited. Definitely a great place to stop.

Love riding along with you! Have experienced many places we not yet visited. However, Elk Valley Casino is located in Del Norte County, Crescent City, Ca. Where we lived for several decades. The Redwoods is one of my favorite places. I haven't been back since 2005. Hopefully we can get back there soon. The log by the immortal tree that you stood in front of, I have pictures of my kids inside of it starting in 1990 to 2005. One of my sons went there about a month ago and took a picture for me. I also have pictures of the car we had at the time, at the drive through tree. Thank you for the memories.

Wonderful trees. Calaveras Big Trees State Park in CA is a great alternative to the crowded national parks. Very beautiful, quiet & lots of Sequoia, Redwood, Ponderosa Pine etc. 👍👍

Great to see the areas we use to live and our drive back and forth until we finally moved. Looking at the Magnificant Giant Redwoods and hearing you read the history on some of them really touched my heart when I realize those trees still alive after all the years, fires and logging way back. Hey, you were just north of where I live, in Willits. You probably went around Willits on the bypass and didn't go through to see the arch, that says Gateway to the Redwoods, and The Heart of Mendocino County. I will be staying at Bear River Casino in my RV in Oct to attend a quilt retreat there. The Chandelier tree is just up the road from where I live. Love the Redwoods.

In Bend Oregon when we was there we went and seen the cave and Rock garden that was really cool. We did that with Ray's uncle and Char stayed with Ray's aunt because she was too little. It was fun

Great video. We are from Oregon and we’re sitting in TT in SunRiver just down the road from Bend. You did a great job picking fun and scenic destinations that Oregon has. I spent so many years growing up, camping, fishing and skiing in the Bend area. I used to rock climb at Smith Rock, you brought back many memories. Now you need to make a trip up here to Alaska, but plan at least a month.

Doesn't Bend have some pretty spots? We lived in LaPine for 8 years. Totally enjoyed watching your travels through areas we are very familiar with. Elk Valley Casino recently relocated to where you visited. Amazing seeing the elk so close to the beaches.
