Great video! Glad you guys liked it at the river. And yep, the downside is the loud boats, but most of the time it's pretty quiet and the view is beautiful and peaceful. That is the BEST beach on the river that we saw. That is an awesome resort, made us want to head back out there. And those donkeys are so cute, I love seeing them. Thanks for sharing!

Really enjoyed watching! I've camped on the Colorado River many years ago, 70's, right in the Parker area, if I remember right the Cottonwood camp area. We took our boat out on the river to find our campsite. Lived in the river most of the time. I ended up slepting on the boat because we spotted a rattlesnake one day in our campsite. I was soon standing on top of the picnic table while the rattlesnake was taken care....it was gonner, with rocks. It was a week of fun! Can't wait to see what's up with Las Vegas!

I used to walk across that London Bridge going to work every morning. I worked on Fleet Street, that’s where all the newspaper offices are. Then when I moved to California, I just had to visit the old bridge in Lake Havasau.

Great video….no surprise 😉 I believe I told you my husband raced boats. There were many flat bottom and ski races at the river and Lake Havasu. We motored under the London Bridge often. If you are under the bridge you can still see the numbers on each stone that they used to put it back together. Fun memories. Safe travels, my friends 💕

If you walk under the London bridge you actually see the numbers on each stone. Stopped at lake Havasu on our way from La to North Carolina in 1977 when I came from Australia. Great road trip memories!

We were at Lake Havasu resort for a week in May. It is so beautiful there. The restaurants were very good and we docked the boat by the restaurants...frequently. LOL. Yes, I had pie 🥧. I loved your videography, especially the burros. I kept waiting for your ice cream. Guess the date shake covers that. 3 days apart was tough I'm sure while pie girl was in Iowa. Thanks for all your hard work on this video.

Watching the video I was missing the PS area. I used to eat at Michael’s Cafe often and I’m guessing the place with pizza might have been Nicolinos. Not sure I spelled it correctly. Billy Reeds was for many years the place to eat in Palm Springs. Billy sold it years ago and it had some good years and down years in quality of food. I’ve seen Kirk Douglas, Cameron Mitchell and the actor that played Dennis the Menace’s father on TV at Billy Reeds. It was great to see my old stomping grounds on your video!!

Oh Wow, we may have been in Havasu City around same time! We stayed at the state park for 3 nights, Nov 3-6. Highly recommend the state park! (We were there for our son’s surprise proposal at London Bridge beach!)

In the summer, the Colorado is noisy with all the power boats. If you stay along the river, be prepared for that plus 117 degree weather.

The Sundance RV park is very nice. I would be nice to own one of those waterfront villas as a vacation house! Yes, it would be nice if there were no speed boats, but for me, they’re not that bad. Being inside a villa I’ll bet you barely notice them. In the summer there would be lots of boats and noise, but they’re off the water when it starts getting dark, so evenings would be very quiet.

We did show prices at the fuel station we stopped at and have shown them prior, while traveling from Washington to CA. If you are heading to Quartzite, that won’t be an area that we will be in any upcoming videos. As you know, prices vary by area and we have shown some as we travel. Prices can change of course by the time you travel there as well. You can also download the “Gas Buddy” app and see all the prices in any area you are curious about and find the cheapest as you travel. 👍🏻😊🤓

Back in the early 1960's when I was young my parents took us to a little restaurant in a date Orchard in Palm Springs. That's the one and only time I have ever had a Date Milkshake. I still think it was the best Milkshake I've ever had. Now I've only been watching your channel for about a month and a half so I don't know if you've been to the East Coast or not. But if you have did you ever go to a Waffle House restaurant? If you have how did you rate the Waffles there? I've was in South Carolina in 1994 and eat at the Waffle House restaurant 3 mornings in a row. It was the best Waffles I've ever had and would give it a 10.
