Hey lixian, you probably already know this but Mr. X's trench coat is actually something called an inhibitor, which limits his mutations. See, X is a tyrant, and the tyrant have a tendancy to constantly mutate and evolve. To prevent them from being to powerful to contain, the creators gave them the inhibitors, aka coats that make them not mutate further.

Jake Rasnow Watching resident evil damnation, which is classified as Canon, you see Mr x in the movie. Two of them actually. In the movie version they look mostly the same, but there are metal pieces sticking out of the coat. That could be the inhibitor. What it does to prevent mutations is beyond me

excellent video! 10/10. love this game and still play it almost every single day. really was a masterpiece, on my first time playing, i was too dumb to figure out where to go and what to do with the items. in my opinion, the lickers were the scariest, mostly because that they are random, they can either leap at your or just swipe. for some reasons i found the brownish lickers scarier in the lab.
