The carbon footprint for vegetables and fruit produced in Spain and shipped to the UK is often smaller than if it was grown in the UK, because of better growing conditions.

A government where those public workers who were applauded for keeping the country running during Covid are offered a pay cut (police, NHS, teachers), or are told that they are actually privately employed and should negotiate with their employer when actually the DfT, aka the government, are the ones in charge (rail workers), or where others are told because they worked too hard and therefore earn too much that the cost of living crisis doesn't apply to them, or where all taxpayers are told that billions squandered on expired PPE or Covid fraud loans won't be recovered.
