This really only applies to extremely large companies you're working for, who have 8 plus grand to spend on a video or two. small to medium sized companies will never have that or be able to justify spending it, understandably.

This was a great video, it is oddly, and at the same time, perfectly relevant to a conversation I recently had with a client. The perfectly relevant part, is that this particular client is working on a program in the education and wellness space, our conversation covered some of what you speak to with authority and expertise quite often, and I mentioned you to her and recommended she reach out to you. I've shared a link to this video with her. ❤

I recently started getting offers for sponsorship segments in videos but its so hard to know how much to charge, or to know what the norm is. Nobody wants to undersell or oversell themselves, think you would ever address that sort of topic?
@LizziePeirce7 ай бұрын
For sponsorships probably not on this channel but usually you charge one rate for integrated and one for dedicated. It depends on the amount of views you're getting per video mostly! Is that helpful?

I don't think the people saying $60k-$75k understand that's average entry level income for someone who just graduated college with a typical business related degree and it's about enough to cover a single lifestyle living in a conservative apartment with a basic vehicle.
@munckmb8 ай бұрын
Totally depends on where in the world you live. Portugal minimum wage per month is €820. 60k is a pretty decent income.

I got 3 words into your comment, .... and I believe you. 🤭 Kidding aside, I think starting pay numbers, might be a rational consideration for some subjectively, but what a post secondary graduate with a business degree subjectively earns in an established organisation, and what an average social media audience member considering opportunities on the platform indipendantly, could realistically expect in earnings, for their offerings to an open and free market without established relationships is entirely unrelated. This may only ever be of consideration within the same frame, for someone at that fork in their own road. You might be surprised to know, mnny of those earning well on social media did at one time put in the hours for someone else to establish experience and develope their personal vision. The compensation in one established position does not validate or set the bar for any resonable expectation from the other. I think if you hold this consideration you share to be true, it might be a clearer endorsement for the entry level job possition. It might be something to consider that Lizzie like many recognized professionals who standout in their chosen space, has put in considerable work, some of it in those established possitions within the industry, to establish complex understandings of the market she serves, best practices for the work she does to serve it, and maybe most importantly some impressive management and organizational skills to keep targets in sight and develope strategies for focussed dirrection of efforts and attention. I don't know, maybe it is your point that those happy with that kind of money could seek employment in established positions without all the risk and responsibility of running their own business. It just sounded like you were pointing out the lack of consideration or realization of "those people". I just don't think it's reasonable to assume, who those people are, or what opportunities are available to rhem.
