Goemon's Great Adventure - Edo Castle (Looped)

A 10 min. looped version of Edo Castle's theme from Goemon's Great Adventure. This is the reason why I wanted to extend GGA's soundtrack in the first place. All the castle themes are pure freaking win. I'm putting this one in third place though, maybe because although it's awesome, it doesn't really stand up to the Underworld Castle theme nor Majin Castle's. But still, I have wasted a lot of hours listening to this song.

which, fantastically, play as you move through the castle (and change back if you backtrack enough) this was the first game I played that did something like this, and when you're am 8 year old kid just discovering the magic of the N64, something even as little as that is mind-blowing, and THIS is one of the reasons this game is one of my all-time favourites~

I played Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon briefly at a friends house at the age of like 5. I remembered the Mount Fuji song for so many years. So when I finally encounted the game 9 years later I instantly recognized it and I got back into the franchise. This is awesome!!! Thanks Firebird!!!! :)

The end give me goosebumps! I remember running to the end of the castle and being prepared to beat the hell out of anything on my way just with that drum thing that play before facing the boss. So many awesome songs.

The only thing that disappointed me about the game was that they didn't let you replay the castles after you defeated them! If only they'd done that, say after when you collected all the entry passes (with bosses and robots as a menu option like in the first game), it would have been perfection!

I remember years ago, my sister and I where playing, and were about to fight the final Impact Battle before facing off against Dochuki, and we paused it so she could use the bathroom. We were poised on top of the character change portal before the end of the level and needed to make one final jump to reach the boss. And for some reason, I (Sasuke the robot with the shittiest jump) tried to make it, and died, costing us our final life. My sister LOST HER SHIT. We had spent all day getting to this point, so much frustration deaths and game overs and we had finally gotten there, only for me to ass it up. She screamed at me like she'd caught me stabbing kittens and I actually thought she was going to smash my face in with the N64 controller. And she'd be kinda justified! This game was a cheap bitch when it came to difficulty!

Not the only game to have a convoluted method of multiplayer. Story of thor 1 and 2 have really messed up multi player modes, only available through a cheat code, and the game is significantly harder when activated.

I love the soundtrack of this game, but I have to disagree with the OP. The game started with the best Castle Theme from the gate. I still hum this one to this day. Not to mention, this is the song they added to Pachislot Ganbare Goemon, so they must like this one over the others.
