Just want to say thanks for in-depth videos of the Pulsar LT install and programming. I was able to successfully install and program all the selected features as I watched your videos. The real MPG test will be tonight on my way too work. My 8 speed transmission engages real quick with no bogging down over stock from a dead stop. I've been very fortunate with my truck with no engine\transmission issues, not bad for having over 57k miles and over 1750 engine hours on my '19 LT crew cab. Thanks for everything. Good job on the video man. Contrary to popular belief this will not, unfortunately, solve all our problems with the 6.2 AFM. The engine is still running on cheap AFM-type lifters which are damaging the cam itself. The speed limiter is based on the tires. The 18" Duratracs are speed rated to 99mph, so GM sets it to 98mph. I think the 20's, not sure of the make, are set at 112mph, because that tire is rated higher.

@John Jones again, it depends on what the speed rating of the tire the truck came with. The 20s on the factory trail boss could be and I believe are different than the 20s on an SLT. A regular SLT vs. a trailer packaged SLT could be different.

Sir, the concept of “earning my subscription” when describing your content fails to such a degree that I hesitated to use it. Until today I have enjoyed your content as bystander as it is pleasantly delivered, authentic, and the result of legitimate ability. Oh my holy God was I unprepared for the severe magnitude of change you casually referred to when saying “Oh this truck rips now”. I installed the Pulsar you recommended today after the culmination of three years of modifications to my own TrailBoss. It tied everything together into a nice package and then detonated six hundred and twenty seven point three repeating pounds of Tanerite under it. My truck geometrically ROCKETED through pleasant improvement, serious surprise, illicit glee, and was fully on course into the “Holy shit I can’t believe we are about to do this!” moment when I backed off for the sake of my sanity and my fiduciary responsibility to the Highway Patrol of Fortress Texas. You don’t want to change speed limiter. I hear they put that on Chevy trucks because the drive shaft or something isn’t made to go over 98. It will blow up. I’d highly recommend looking into that. I have 2023 Silverado 1500 rst. So not just talking bad about Chevy. Just being real. Look into it before ever going over 98. Also rear ends and transmissions are good for going out around 80k miles. Extra weight of the wheels and going fast will speed it up. I blew rear end out in my 2020 Silverado with 22x12.5 rims with 33 inch tires. That’s why I got 2023 rst.

What size tires are you running on that trail boss? Did you have to lift it or cut anything to make those fit? My stock 2020 trail boss has Good Year Wrangler 275/65/R18’s but I want a wider tire that may give me a little sidewall poke without lifting or cutting anything and was curious if 305/60/R18’s would fit. Thanks, and love your channel.

What about your warranty? Will it void it? Seems like it be a lot to have to takeoff to go to the dealer every time not as simple as the range

grey zone. because it's allowing operation outside of factory parameters (particularly with speed limiter.) maybe. if it's actually writing to teh ECU yes it will leave imprints. technically inline "tuners" dont void warranty, but some leave traces.

if you keep the speed around the EPA test speed of 55 on the highway, it does make a difference. so realworld yes, depending on how and where you drive. if you run 75+ no difference

@cordellroberson5323 жыл бұрын
@@Blackocalypse I mean it's really going to depend on where you drive, I'm in Alaska (60mph speed limit) my buddy had his oil pressure sensor go bad On his 2010 5.3 LTZ, which forced it into 8 cylinder mode and he lost five MPG on exactly the same loop all highway about 600 miles. After I verified that it was in fact the switch and not a problem with actual oil pressure and replaced it he gained those five MPGs back! Same route approximately the same weather 3 weekends in a row.
