You are wrong it's one straps for the first 5ft and one for the next 5ft and one every 10ft after that so basically 2 for the fist 10 ft and one every 10ft after that and have to cover at least half of the total load's weight

You are the following example, one tiedown is required because the article of cargo is 5 ft in length and does not exceed 1,100 lbs. If the article of cargo were greater than 5 ft in length but less than 10 ft, two tiedowns would be needed regardless of the weight. When an article of cargo is not blocked or positioned to prevent movement in the forward direction, and the item is longer than 10 ft in length, then it must be secured by two tiedowns for the first 10 ft of length, and one additional tiedown for every 10 ft of length, or fraction thereof, beyond the first 10 ft. An example of this is provided below. If an article is blocked, braced or immobilized to prevent movement in the forward direction by a headerboard, bulkhead, other articles that are adequately secured, or other appropriate means, it must be secured by at least one tiedown for every 10 ft of article length, or fraction thereof.

😂. I look at my older videos and I think how much has changed. I made that because I pulled on a location and a new hotshot driver didn’t know how to use them. He had to much pride to ask me. So I had to go to him and help.

No belly or inside the pockets this is just wrong in load securement.

First of all belly roll is not a legal load securement. They do not give you credit for that. That’s why every time I do a belly roll. I got a strap right beside it.

Three straps no more than 10 foot apart on a 15 foot piece of pipe. Totally legal the only thing I don’t do anymore is do my ratchets like that going outside the rub rail
