Today I am cooking at home and making easy loaded Doritos or DoriLocos and Frito pie. I will also be making an easy cheese sauce that is perfect for nachos.

INGREDIENTS
Frito chips
Doritos Chips
19 oz ( 538 g) can of chili
cheese sauce (or shredded cheese of choice)
shredded lettuce
salsa
sour cream
INGREDIENTS FOR CHEESE SAUCE
8 oz (227 g) block of Velveeta cheese
4 oz (123 g) sour cream (or cream cheese)
1/2 Tbsp butter
1/4 tsp paprika
1/8 tsp onion powder
1/3 cup (78 ml) milk
2 Tbsp pickled jalapeno brine
TACO MEAT
1 lb (454 g) lean ground beef (or meat of choice)
1 packet of taco seasoning
3/4 cup (177 ml) water

My favorite diet foods are springrolls, and sushi. Whatever diet you are on you can easily modify both. And they're quick and easy if you have chopped veg. Endless combinations. Tabouleh with kalamata pieces added and a lil kalamata juice will make anyone a tabouleh lover too. Hummus is also super versatile. One of my favorites is edemame hummus

Growing up in Texas the original Frito pie recipe that was popular is actually layered in a baking dish with onions and baked until bubbly. I experienced the way you are doing at fairs and carnivals as a teenager. I love either way!

Anything nachos is me all the way. Those concession stand days..... this was exactly how I did my Doritos. Sometimes just cheese and jalapeno.

I got lucky. My family has been in San Antonio since before Fritos were invented. SA was also home to the Chili Queens' reigns. I grew up on Frito Pie. I love it! I wish I could still eat it, but as you age, your innards get more wrecked. The smell alone takes me back 40 years. This video has brought on some hardcore nostalgia. There is nothing better in the winter. I'm now yearning for a big bag of the good stuff. Maybe it's time to go buy some TUMS or Zantac and just go for it.

Every place we volunteer, I always set out a couple of 6 qt slow cookers with a couple of different chilis with snack bagas of Fritos and Doritos, and a cooler with shredded lettuce, chopped tomatoes, cheese, a few salsas, and sour cream. It's amazing how easy and inexpensive it is to feed 50+ people with meals like this. Clean up is easy too! 😉

I had never heard of Walking Tacos till last year when I worked the fair . Seemed like everyone had them though mainly because they were easy to carry around and delicious .

I love your channel, but please look up the ingredient HEK293. It’s a food additive “flavor enhancer” that is sourced from a human fetal abortion cell line and is in BOTH Doritos and Fritos. Definitely recommend breaking up the Doritos just a bit, maybe into quarters? It works so well, because then you can use a fork with all of the other toppings. Great video!

Some folks call it "Taco in a Bag." I used to buy Wolf Brand Chili & also their canned tamales! I really loved them! (they haven't made them in years) I used to make a casserole where you line the 13X9 pan with tamales, pour chili over, then lots of cheese & bake. Kinda gross & super fatty but sure tasted good back in the 80's LOL! TFS- I want to make your easy cheese sauce! Sometimes I buy the Mission Cheese Sauce in a jar, thin it just a little, & add spices & heat in microwave for a quick dip for tortilla chips.

Yummy, yummy! Fritos with chili & nacho sauce. And in years prior, especially as a a kid, enjoyed getting Hot Cheetos with the nacho cheese & chili - all from ice cream trucks. I've heard about the "loaded Doritos" before, but as walking tacos, and it was on TV.

A lady after my own heart... Wolf brand only (although I like it with beans ala James Coney Island and yes 55 years in Texas 😆) and Fritos!! Eat it every time it gets cold here in Florida ( more this year :-).

Another winner! Wolf's chili can't hold a candle to the chili I make, but it is enormously convenient. It is just what is wanted for frito pie and no apologies needed for using it. I also dump it over spaghetti, adding "Mexican" grated cheese and diced onions. It is a kind of Texan twist on Cincinnati chili.

In the KRGV area the real frito pie was served in schools, My older siblings made them for us younger ones Its corn chips, pinto beans cooked, lettuce, tomatoes, and cheese served with corn bread and mexican rice, so delish

I do mine different ways but I do one thing different on the Frito pie is I add onions to mine. I like the way you make the cheese sauce. I don't add the sour cream. I am going to do that next time. I remember we were living in east Texas when the Frito pies first came out here about 1960. The only place we could get then was a few hamburger stands. Then people started making their own.

Oh you bring back good memories with the Fritos chili. Way back in the 1960's our Dad, who was lifetime military, when he would come home from maneuvers, he would sit down with us and we would have this as a special treat -- with his homemade chili. Very good memories. 🤓
