Gotta pay attention when hooking up a trailer. If they're too tall I'll back under and not hook then I'll lower the trailer to the 5th wheel. Then back up to latch. Paper rolls are fun to haul as well.

Are you going to upload a video of the container that flipped and landed on a car on the 405?

Another great job. I have a question. When towing a super heavy load you need a lots of breaking power right. Riiigghht, the truck has 2 working axels with 8 tires. Does it have 8 drum brakes? And do you have front brakes also. That would be great breaking power.
@stevebury65602 жыл бұрын
one brake chamber on each side of the axle, so two per axle . and same on the front.

How did that container flip on such a flat parking lot with all those other trailers in the way
@PepesTowingService2 жыл бұрын
Honestly I have no idea lol I tried to figure that out myself. Only guess is the tractor wasn’t fully attached and when he turned it fell off

Hey Josh, do any of your rotators have rolling carriages like @RonPratt with Midwest Truck do?
@donw39122 жыл бұрын
They don't as California has weight restrictions on the trucks and the rolling carriage would put them over the limit.

I hope they were not paying the Freightliner driver by the hour, he made hard work of backing up to the 5th wheel.. You and Alex can do these jobs in your sleep.

Looks like driver pulled out of door went to make the left turn out and forgot to lock his pin, container just slipped out from underneath.

with reasonable load securing this would not have happened in the first place... you can learn... but you don't have to..
@waynekoepke81282 жыл бұрын
to finish that job rite it should have been unloaded put back in and blocked so it would not move the next driver to take that loan out it could fall over again one more thing how over weight was it i bet most of the containers you pick back up are over 80.000 lbs
