LOADING A STONE TRAIN At Peak Forest Quarry (Cemex Dole Holes Quarry)

What can I say, this is the incredible Peak Forest (Cemex Dove Holes Quarry) Having A cottage for two weeks in the actual village Peak Forest visiting the 'Famous' viewing bridge was inevitable. Arriving at 'the bridge' at around 16:15 and within half an hour I'm almost overwhelmed by the amount of stone trains moving up and down the line. This will be probably one of a couple videos of stone trains going to and from the various quarry's

You are actually standing in Peak Dale.Peak Forest is three miles awayto the east.There is a reason why the station is called Peak Forest.Its because when the railway was built the place was called Peak Forest hamlet but this was changed to avoid confusion with the actual Peak Forest.

@@mrmartinb1615 Yes, in effect. Strictly, the capacity in cubic metres of the loader's bucket. The commenter perhaps is from America, where they're used to having more room and can use larger equipment. However, I did think myself that a long train would be best loaded by several loaders, working at the same time. All depends on time available, I suppose. Anyway, thanks for the video.
