REVERSING A EMPTY STONE TRAIN At Peak Forest Quarry (Cemex Quarry) Pt 2

Part II. What can I say, this is the incredible Peak Forest (Cemex Dove Holes Quarry) Having A cottage for two weeks in the actual village Peak Forest visiting the 'Famous' viewing bridge was inevitable.
Round two of my addiction to stone trains, this time its a Wednesday, same sort of times as before, 16:15 ish on wards. The first thing I hear when I open the car door is a class 60 powering up the hill, so off I run, including in this visit was seeing the very first class in the country 66001.
I managed to get free time on the Friday 23, again similar time. First to rock up again was the awesome DB class 60 powering up the hill from Tunstead and while doing that a GBRF class 66 rolls in picking up a radio then heads down the line to reverse into the Cemex site. After that I captured another GBRF but this one going up the hill on a loaded train, then two empties came down, Freightliner then DB Cargo 66004 I'm A Climate Hero. Enjoy.

It's incredible the amount of stone trains that run up and down that line, almost breathe taking and its all helped with HS2 being built. Most definitely worth a visit in my book. If I said a freight train 'empty or loaded' on average every 15/20 minutes or so running passed. 👍
