Whats with the random digital footage at the end?

Honestly had to rewatch the video to see what you meant haha but that was just me hanging with a friend after shooting through the film.

So how much does one film come at, with developing and scan in addition to the film itself?
@RompingBronco2 жыл бұрын
It depends on where you go, for this I used Cinelab and it was about $1 per foot for developing and a little extra for scans depending on quality. Film prices are kind of weird right now but I would not try and pick up less expensive expired film (do as I say not as I do) if you're wanting to spend the big bucks shooting film it's worth it to spend a bit more and get fresh stock.

@@RompingBronco $1 per foot almost makes it sound cheap untill you realise it is like a second or something of footage. Ouch.

@@JanneRanta Excellent and very helpful video. When it comes to motion picture film, develop it yourself. But you must use a Lomo tank if you can find one (now hard to get as best are in Ukraine.) but the chemicals are inexpensive. Do not use a bucket! Because film is so expensive, self processing is for us, the only way to go. The lowest prices for film and more is the Film Photography Project for your supplies. Also B+H and Cinestill. You can transfer the footage (without a very pricey scanner, using a 16mm projector outfitted with a 5-blade shutter (I sold many and designed them for Eiki. Yes, I'm older.) diffuser glass, remove lens, use camcorder with Raynox macro lens and manual focus. Record directly off film gate. A 12v LED MR11 light available on Azn. cheap, fits and works in any 12v projector, including super 8, no mods needed. Happy Filming.

@@flixvendormovies4788 Do you have any guides to processing? I would be interested in that.

you missed a whole section of you actually feeding the film through the gate...
