FINALLY!!!!! I’ve been searching for a video like this!!!! I have some “littles” I’m definitely going to use this method on. I would like to see a video on the method you mentioned at the end of the video. I started with braidlocs 9 months ago and I dyed my hair prior to the initial install and the dyed hair has not lost the braid pattern so I would like to just wrap that part and not the entire loc to give a cohesive look and extra length to even out my shorter sides with the back.
@SincerelyKyah8 ай бұрын
Ahhhh!!! I’m so glad you found this helpful!!!! This littles be acting up!!! And okay sounds good! I too have locs that are mature up top and when it gets to the bottom, it tapers into basically a curl so I’ll film it! ♥️♥️

@SincerelyKyahКүн бұрын
Trust me, I get it 🥲 if you’re doing your entire head, maybe have someone assist with the back or do it all for you. I found the back to be challenging just cuz I can’t see too well but they locs are holding up well!!!

That's the trouble I'm having now. My hair is fine and short.. My microlocs are unraveling, even though I've plaited them and interlocked the roots... They're still coming loose 😩 it's been two months, I'm bout ready to call it quits.
@SincerelyKyah2 ай бұрын
I’m so sorry, girl although my hair is not fine all over I still have fine parts in the back of my head that are not locked and It’s been four years. Maybe you should make your locks bigger so that they have a chance?
@Charli_Maddness2 ай бұрын
@@SincerelyKyah well I can only make them so big with my hair being fine/thin. This is my second go at them. The first time I had 316 locs, I cut them off Feb 2024. This time I counted 201. And I've retied about 50 since I wrote the comment. 😮💨

Do you use the sisterlock shampoo? That's the only thing that helped my hair.
@SincerelyKyahАй бұрын
@@marciemork5347 you know I never tried it. I was told I had to go to a certified Sister lock Loctician to get it and I never did so I just use herbal essence.

Omigosh!! Thank you! I have microloc extensions and I always lose some between reties. My old stylist who did the install would replace the lil' fallen soldiers, but my new loctician just leaves the baby locs (she doesn't offer microloc extensions bc they can slip even when braided). 😭 I love my microloc extensions even with them slipping out here & there. With your video, I may be able to replace them myself!! Just have to figure out how to work on the ones at back of my head. 🤔

I don’t have locs but i wear mini twists a lot and im looking to grow my shoulder length twists into a blunt bob, similar to how ur hair is in this video. The front of my hair along the hairline is either struggling to grow at the same rate or simply won’t grow. I plan on purchasing bulk kinky hair to create mini twists that match the rest of my hair. My temples no longer enjoy styles like box braids or Marley twists bc it’s too much tension so i think this is gonna be my solution. I’m happy people are relaxing we can extend our natural hair in ways that don’t cause tension. Ur hair looks beautiful.
@SincerelyKyah8 ай бұрын
Thanks for the comment Michelle!!! I honestly love my hair at this length, and I’m gonna be cutting it to keep it at this length as it grows because I think this is perfect for volume styles as well as ponytails! But yes, our hairlines in the nape of her hair are unfortunately traumatized by the amount of tension we put on it, but they should help you and I did these 5 days ago, and they’ve already softened up!
@mrod878 ай бұрын
@@SincerelyKyah yep, same, I’ve been trimming the length of my hair so i can maintain my mini twists as a long dense bob (which means my straight hair has to be like mid back length and chile i just don’t see these edges getting that long haha). I want to try mini twists with color too which i never thought was possibly until i learned of this hair. Def plan on buying this hair soon and new subbie!

@SweetTwanni77 ай бұрын
Do you know how I can do this but start from the bottom. (I think you said it at the end of this video) but yeah I want to add it to the bottom vs the root, that way when my hair natural grows out a little more I can cut the fake hair off.
