I really don't see anything wrong with them hanging out. They have been good friends and I am sure Sharla's husband didn't mind at all. Anyway, don't you find your comment too rude?
@Kimonekochan6 жыл бұрын
I understand that it can be inappropriate in Korean culture but don't forget that Sharla and Greg are not Korean and they are friend since forever. Also they are grown people who take their own decisions and you don't know what her husband is thinking so please don't be rude and take his place to say anything.

I would recognize that constellation anywhere; it's Cassieopeia! Also, you don't have to scoop out the seeds in those melons, you can totally eat them. When I worked at a middle school, the teachers would buy them in the summer, peel them, and then cut them up and they never took out the seeds first...which suits me fine because it means less work for my lazy butt :)

@tildessmoo6 жыл бұрын
Well, I searched a hundred or so comments, so I don't think anyone else has said this: I'm not entirely certain if it's got the right number of gems/stars, but I think the constellation necklace looks like Cassiopeia. The W shape is supposed to be Queen Cassiopeia of Aethiopia sitting on her throne. The stars kind of collectively tell a story, because the constellation is bordered by Cepheus (Cassiopeia's husband), Andromeda (her daughter), Perseus (the hero who saved Andromeda and slew Medusa), and Pegasus (who people often forget sprang from Medusa's neck when Perseus cut off her head). Sorry if that's too much detail, but I was a Classics major in college, so... yeah. And I'm not entering the contest, but I'd definitely have bought the fresh 김치, or maybe some of the grains (probably black rice and beans to mix in my rice; one of my best friends is Korean, and he's turned me on to their way of thinking about mixing other grains into rice). Also, I'm guessing you've probably tried it by now, but if not you might want to get some 대추차 (jujube tea); possibly my favorite Korean beverage.
@sharlainjapan6 жыл бұрын
A couple other people suggested the same constellation so that must be it :D Thanks for the sharing the story, very interesting!! Always cool when your major comes in handy right? Haha

No harm in trying it. You might be surprised. The Klairs stuff is honestly a really nice cheap place to start. You don't have to go nuts like us girls with 10 plus steps but.. just an oil cleanse, cleanse, tone, vit c and moisturiser would probably be more than enough. Plus- silly pictures on sheet masks are fun:) the papa recipe honey bombee masks are really awesome.

Street markets are so nice!! Super cozy and cheaper than in the stores.. I guess it’s much cheaper because there’s no expensive store rent. The only downside of Dutch street markets is that there’s rarely any organic produce! Loved the video! I’m craving kimchi right now! 😂😘❤️

Wow the market seems so nice!! I wish we had more of these type of markets here in the West as well- Haha If I had been there I probably wouldn't have been able to hold back on the fruits and nuts- I absolutely love those and honestly in Asian countries the variety of fruits and nuts you can get is so much bigger!! The taste is also so much richer. I miss it!! Also the big variety of beans and rice is amazing!! Combining different rice and adding beans can really boost the taste and make the overall taste so much nicer!! It must've been so nice there! ^^

It's funny, my mum lied to my dad for years about being allergic to cheap jewelry so he'd buy her the expensive stuff. And it was only when I was in my mid teens (about 15ish, so they'd probably been together for about 20 years), that my sisters and I bought her...I think it was earrings from this places that does really nice jewelry nearby - like it not real gold or silver but it's a brand with a great reputation internationally so it's not super cheap either. And we showed it to my dad and he was like 'you can't give her THAT! She's ALLERGIC!' At which point my sister was like 'I'm pretty sure she's borrowed my jewelry [from this place] and has been fine'. So we gave it to my mum to see what would happen. And my dad was OUTRAGED when she was fine. He still holds it against her that she lied about an allergy to cheap stuff to this day! XD
