Most of the people commenting haven't lived in Memphis and anywhere else and just comment "crime!" As if these same things aren't occurring across the state and the USA. People love a narrative, lolollz. The rising costs for both the restaurants and patrons, people having less disposable income, and more families choosing to cook at home is more likely the primary reasons for these closures.

Memphis is a s***hole city. Drove cross country, stopped to see Graceland, and could not believe how run down Memphis was. I did not stay in Memphis longer than it took me to drive after Graceland.
