I read about a new Zinc Battery technology that sounds promising and does not have the fire hazards and Hydrogen Fluoride and Hydrogen Cyanide gasses that Lithium battery fires produce. Still seems strange that a battery storage facility would be the highest and best use of such a rare coastal location.
