My Ford C-Max has a button on the dash, and I could not get the fuel door to open. I followed your advice, and voila! it's working now. THANK YOU for saving me so much money for a repair!! Love you!

Cyclone Cyd to the rescue once again! This happened to me earier today with my 9-3. Of course you only find this out when low on fuel and already at the petrol station 😆 Thankfully I only live a couple of miles from the nearest one so it wasn't a drama and I could get home (after spending nearly £12 on a tin of WD-40 from same garage in the hope that would fix it). You are a legend my friend. Keep posting the videos

please make a video on how to remove that fuel filler neck sleeve/ fuel door hinge unit. I had recently fixed my broken one and it was quite a pain to remove and fix as there weren't any good videos of it online.

Paul, I saw there are RUST on your Saab body ( right quarter panel above the wheel ). Grind-away the rust, put few layers of anti-rust, primer and some paint job ....

@@CycloneCydI tried you testing method and I don’t believe it was correct. I tried wires one way and nothing happened. When I tried the other way, it sparked and popped.

@@mgpvii so it sounds like you have a faulty motor unit
@mgpvii2 ай бұрын
@ I don’t believe that should have happened if it was the proper way to test it because if that was a means to simulate how it operates in the vehicle, then it would have popped while it was in the car.

I was wondering the same as Matt Johnson, no relation, would it be possible to do a video on repairing the rust on the wheel arches, cheers.
@CycloneCyd3 жыл бұрын
Yeah, I'm gonna make a start at cleaning it up soon. Seems to be a particular problem with 2007 7 2008 model years.

Hi Do you have any idea if there are licenceplate bulbs for the saab 93 YS3F which are not flickering. Or maybe you know some figligts which are not hyperflashing without building an relay circuit like you have shown it in your led reverse light conversion video? Thank you an best regards
@CycloneCyd3 жыл бұрын
I'm not aware of any. Relays it is.

These's do NOT flicker.
@CubasAutomotive3 жыл бұрын
Very nice! I don't recall having to work on them ever, unless the door was stuck shut. Wd40 usually helps lubricate them enough (on the push button to pop them open style). The locking seems unique to me. Always learning something new. Thanks! 😊

I recently started having this problem I'm pushing the button to open the door for the gas door to open and nothing is helping Ibhsd to get someone to open the fuel door while I push the button and then it finally opens I have a warranty on my car though.

My 2007 is quite a bit worse on the rear arches sadly. The rear arches seem to be where they go first. It's one of those things I'm just leaving though as it's not worth fixing.

Yeah, 07 & 08 model years do seem worse. I'll be starting on it soon.
