Same! I enjoy being alone. I either wake up early or stay up late, but I have to have a couple hours to myself for my brain to reset from the craziness that is mom life. Also the kids waking up when you finally get a chance to eat is the realist thing ever. every 👏 single 👏 time 👏

My daughter is Theo’s age and we night weaned her after we moved her out of our room around 1 year old. My husband went into her room to comfort her back to sleep when she would wake up to nurse. Only lasted a couple days before she started sleeping through the night. 💜 it’s a game changer!

My son was born two hours before Theo and he was doing well with the night weaning then had 3 molars come in and the only thing that soothed him was nursing THE WHOLE NIGHT. Since then it's a habit for him to nurse 3x a night again now. We've been considering moving him to his own room but I wasn't sure how that'd go with the night nursing. So glad to hear it worked well for you! I think we're going to go ahead and move him this weekend and hopefully it'll go as smoothe as it seemed to for you guys!!!

Oh my gosh! I used to get up much earlier when I worked, but I stopped working two months ago to be a stay at home mom to my seven month old and baby number two to be in January. My son goes to sleep at 8:30-9pm and wakes up around 7:30am so I get up with him, feed him, change his diaper and snuggle for another hour with him in bed. So in reality we are not up till 8:30 unless we need to be up earlier for the day. I always make sure though before we go downstairs, baby is dressed, beds are made, and I get myself semi put together (makeup usually doesn’t happen though 😂). I stay up though till midnight or later because that is when I feel the most productive after he goes to sleep. I clean, get things done I need to, take a long uninterrupted shower, and maybe watch some KZbin or tv.

Could you do a day in the life with time stamps? Not necessarily super detailed footage of the whole day, but just so we get a sense of how you fit everything in (i.e. 5:00 am wake up, 5:30: breakfast........ 12:00: lunch, 12:30: kids' nap, 1-3:00: work, etc.)? I'm a full time mom and also work at home and it's so hard to balance everything!

Our family doctor told me that after 10 months kids don’t need milk at night they need sleep and advised me to reduce gradually and try other ways to help them fall asleep. Two weeks and she sleeps full nights. One month and she’s fully whined. No tears, struggle or anything. Gradually and gently. I love your hair btw 💜

Can you please make a video on how they get along sleeping in the same room. Does Theo wake Eloise when he wakes up to feed during the night ?
@philippapay43524 жыл бұрын
Such a British habit, to put the milk or cream in the cup or mug first and then pour the hot beverage over it. I love how cultures differ in certain ways. In the States, we tend to pour the hot beverage and then do the additives. I forget what the Brits say their reason for that habit is, but they do have one that I seem to recall sort of made sense when I heard it. My reason for sticking with cream or other additives after the hot beverage (or cold one, I guess) is that I judge how strong I want it by the color plus fill the cups pretty high (which does not mean I get any greater volume consumed at one sitting). LOL. I have been a drinker of black coffee with no sugar et al for a long time, so none of that matters anymore. It does for my true love's tea. Is the sun in summer weak enough up where you live that you do not have to water your garden at dusk, when the roots reaching up toward the water will not get them scorched by the sun or heat of the sun? It's good that both children stay in their room when they awaken and wait for you to get them. It's so funny that Theo is making chewing motions while in your arms headed for the kitchen. Eloise is doing a good job for a wee one at following your instructions for what she needs to do in her room while you clean-up from breakfast. It's good that you are stopping Theo from coloring on anything and everything. He will get the point and you will not have to live with all the damage he could do. Theo is now embracing this new walking thing!
