I just LOVE how you encourage the kids to help with laundry/cleaning by just letting them EVEN THOUGH they are in the way and actually slowing things down. Really something I want to be conscious to let my little one do. p.s. I know the spider looks big (to me too) but Australians will probably laugh as their spiders are like size of a foot. 😆
@sophiagray31914 жыл бұрын
Yeah living in Australia for almost three years now has massively desensitized me to spiders haha
@zoenikolaidou1554 жыл бұрын
Australian here... There is so many spiders AND other disgusting things. Our huuuuge cockroaches in sydney are absolutely everywhere in the thousands. Like the walking path on the streets for example... The last places I was living my partner told me to not get rid of the spider on my ceiling coz it was a GOOD spider and would be a predator to big spiders... There's too many to freak out every time. Gotta learn who's a friend or a foe. That spider ended up making babies on the shower ceiling. was a cute pet 😂

Don't know why I found this so satisfying, but I did! Made me want to just get up and do something. Unfortunately for me there is not much to de-clutter as we have moved about 5 or so times in the last 4 years so we de-cluttered every move. You did however make me want to get a label maker! Also love how you have memory boxes, I also tend to keep memories like that.
@Ankamil014 жыл бұрын
So that the boxes do not take up much space, I carefully unfold them on top and bottom (if you can get not damage them), and fold them in a flat pile. A huge amount of space is freed. Yes, and finding the right one is much easier by looking at the stack and not shifting all the different sized boxes from place to place.

I know I'm not Delilah but from other mamas I've talked to with kids under 5 who had the pet before they had kids they say that their pets got a little neglected (not in regards to their physical needs, more in the affection department) after they had kids.

A good tip is to store all those boxes in a plastic storage tub that you can seal because the little silverfish bugs eat cardboard and so they love hiding out in all those. Especially if what you’re storing all them in is cardboard also! I’ve started doing that and noticed less silverfish!

@bibi dilux some people are really afraid of spiders and insects and can't stand if they touch them. It's like a phobia. We have to accept that. I try to catch them and put them outside most of the time, but sometimes I unwillingly damage their body while catching them..and I don't know if it's any good for them to stay alive if they are hurt, because probably they will starve to death or something because they will be unable to get food for themselves.
@Lindelinchen4 жыл бұрын
I do that too! I googled once, they get sucked in so fast the don't survive and crawl out 😂😂😂

This isn't meant to be negative. But ... God forbid there was an emergency, then accessing that back back cabinet with the memory boxes would be near impossible! You might want to keep it in like a fireproof box or something. (Obviously in an emergency there are more important things but that age old question of "if you could run back for one thing" mine is memory boxes/photo-albums)
