Probably the first anglo-american video about slovenija that is not just quickly jumping from seaside ..Ljubljana..and Bled.. but actually represented other cities and villages with culinary stops, a bit of hiking and amazing cinematic portraits of nature. Oh and yes, thank you for researching and correct pronunciation of the places you visited. Sit down, A+. Welcome back anytime 🙋♂️

Hi! I'm so glad you found this video. I didn't know how to reach you directly. Thank you SO much again for showing me around. It was a cold, wet day, but you gave me a lovely tour and I really appreciate the time you took to show me the farm. The cheese was DELICIOUS!

It is not surprising that you've stumbled upon rain in Lake Bohinj, since traditionally Rain has it's babies there, as we say in Slovenia. But I really appreciate your video and hope you'll visit again soon.

Love that! As much as rain might obscure a view, I find beauty in how vibrantly green it can make the landscape. I enjoyed it all the same. :) Thank you for watching and leaving this comment!

There are no more vignette stickers on windshileds since 2021, but e-vignettes, bought online or gas stations. Secondly, sorry for you having such bad weather at bohinj lake. This & sourrounding areas tops all other places in Slovenia.

At 12:03 you have actually captured 3 common themes at once: beside the power station you have a volunteer fire station and a storks nest on the electric pole. The only thing missing is a hayrack :)

very nice video and I'm glad you liked it here!... but I watched a lot of videos from people who chose to visit slovenia and you all make the same mistake never come to slovenia in september or even oktober it is the worst time and worst weather... so if you come back please come in may or summer or in winter if you like the winter atmosfire 😉 also you should see since you like to hike sedmera jezera(seven rivers in triglav national park) go to planica and from there to Tamar or mojstrana and go to see waterfall peričnik (slap Peričnik) and from there to vintgar gorge

Really appreciate the suggestions! I absolutely hope to return there and see even more of this country! Honestly, it's now one of my favorite places. I read about Seven Rivers, but didn't feel I had enough time to pursue it on the day I was in the area. I will have to come back! Also, aside from the few days of rain I shared with you all, the weather was very pleasant! Slightly cool and sunny. No complaints here. :)

@akfasso yes if you want to see the beautiful lakes and Mountains (seven lakes in triglav national park) you should make this a one day trip from lake bohinj then go to Stare Fužine and just follow the red sings all the way up by the first lake is a cotage so you can eat and drink something and then go in a different direction and you can see waterfall Slavica and come back to bohinj lake and you make a nice circle around the whole lake in one day😊
