Man, when it comes to any other genre of music, covers are done from time to time for so many reasons. I think that, this song must of meant a lot to Bobby, and, just like so many of us, Cube impacted our lives so much, that paying a respect and giving a thank you and homage is more than ok, it is a good thing, something WE should see more of in HIP HOP. It’s our 50th this year. Why can't WE as artists pay respects by putting in time on songs that truly made us the individuals WE are today. The words and schemes will have different impacts and meanings depending on each individual artists journey and where they first laid ears on the track. To me this was a thank you and mad love towards one of the pillars within the House. So say what you want but I think WE as younger artists should look at what he just did.
