Logic Pro - How to use MIDI FX modulation on an audio channel

Hi ! Thanks for the tip, but I could not understand why using BUS? Isn't it the same to create an audio track with no output and create the Q-Sampler track with input of that audio track? What I did and it worked....but...on the Q-sapmpler the monitor switch should be ON, andthe problem is that as soon as I close the sampler plugin it immediately becomes off lol (to be more precise, it switches to default classic mode), so maybe Logic deliberately ceased this in new versions :))

Hey, I'm not sure what I'm missing... But how were you able to create an aux channel as a software instrument? My busses are automatically created as Audio tracks.

The quicksampler is Not an Audio Track. Its a virtual Instrument Plug in, which is able to record Material from other logic Tracks. So basically you don’t choose an Output Channel for your Track, but an Input Surce on an Independent midi sample Instrument.

Hi Maurice! Do you know if the new Logic version allows audio plugin modulation? I can't install it bc I don't want to update OS yet. I jumped to Ableton ONLY because of this feature...

it's so interesting how some DAWs are really good at certain things. I think nothing beats logic as a full ITB DAW. The plugs cover a ton of ground and I've heard compositions using stock midi instruments that are incredible. But in this case logic is being stretched, and although it can do it, in something like ableton this is so trivial. But there is a lot missing from ableton that logic has in spades.

As a note - after further testing, I suggest not using the QuickSampler and instead using the Evoc 20 Poly Synth for audio 'through' routing. The Quick Sampler disables the monitor mode when the project is reloaded requiring opening and renabling it. (not huge but inconvenient) Instead use the EVOC 20's side chain for this as it is saved with the project.

EVOC only takes a mono signal from the input and does not consider stereo or panning information.

Why creating a bus instead of just muting the audio track and select this audio track as an input in the Quick Sampler?

Getting stuck using the EVOC20 here. Not sure how to set it up instead of the Quick Sampler. "Through" using the sidechain?

@@NicholasMasiuk You want to record the result as audio onto a new track? If so - route it to bus and select that bus as the input on a new audio channel.
