Not to mention the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act of 2021 means new cars are being built with kill switches the government has remote access to. Right to repair laws have seen recent attention yet the government is silently giving themselves backdoors for everything in your life. A proprietary kill switch by a notoriously invasive and secretive third party for your personal transportation is one more silent step towards the total destruction of privacy.

@@PianoWolfg it's pretty common for international deals to be done in a third country. For example an American company and an Australian company doing business might choose to do the deal in Belize. That way the Australian company won't have to file paperwork with the IRS (Internal Revenue Service) and the American one avoids needing to do the same with the ATO (Australian Tax Office). Edit: Forgot to add that the Belize government won't require either company to do any paperwork for the deal and won't impose any tax obligations.

5 years straight in Mitsubishi sales guild myself... I can safely say that salesman's successful career is dependent on how well you treat your clients. Repeat business and referrals is your bread and butter when you're 3 years pending you've done a good job. You know that you have made it when a client shops you and you can't do the deal, however the client still goes with you even though you're more expensive. They're willing to pay a grand more for your service rather than go with the slimy prick down the road trying to snip or burn the deal... The stigma from pre 2010 will always tarnish car salesmen... However being a point of difference in an industry full of sharks can really end up being a prosperous career... The only problem we face as sales people is the persistent overloading of admin duties so dealerships can save on admin clerks... We are workaholics and burn out... That's why we also have a stigma of being degenerate alcoholics and drug abusers...

Pretty spot on about people buying cars. My happiest customers were the ones I made the most off of and the pissed off ones got the best deal.
