I have religiously used a mechanical keyboard for the past three years because I liked the look and feel of the keys while I am typing, but my carpal tunnel got so bad that my hands (especially my right hand) that I had to try something new. After doing a crap-ton of research on ergonomic keyboards and mouse combos, I recently bought this keyboard to help me with a k570 trackball mouse. Since I got them today, I can say that the carpal tunnel in my right that hand, which basically extends from my fingertips to my shoulder, is not an issue tonight. I am not super-surprised, but I am highly encouraged that maybe the carpal tunnel situation that I have maybe a thing of the past. I still prefer the sound, feel, and the way you can control the lighting on an RGB mechanical keyboard, but if this wave keyboard really helps me with my carpal tunnel, I am willing to stick with this ergonomic wonder. As a side note... I would not say that I am a superfast typist, but I do have a lot of pride in the speed at which I type. On a traditional keyboard (like a k750), I usually type in the 80-100 wpm range with about a 95% accuracy depending on the text's complexity; however, on this keyboard, I type about 60 to 80wpm with about 93% accuracy. Basically, the keyboard layout is different, and it takes some time to get adjusted to it, but that is a pretty significant decrease in typing speed (20-25%). Once I get used to the new keyboard layout, I will get to where I am at least typing in the mid-80s again, which will be welcomed. This model is several years old; I think that Logitech needs to make a new version with keys that have less resistance and a shorter keystroke to modernize the look and feel of the keyboard.

I bough a few of these real cheap, 15 bux each, only use ergo keyboards and those are getting expensive. had one curved before. My biggest complaint is that the keys are pretty small but I think I will get used to it. for 15 bux it's a good deal

Absolutely correct, wish the keys were larger also.

Bluetooth using the module supplied.

There is a dongle that plugs into the USB port of your computer. I have so many now that I am thinking about throwing some of the things in the trash. Many of the modern keyboards use Bluetooth, and I think that it would not be a bad idea for Logitech to do the same thing with all future models.

This keyboard has no backlights at all. It does has a volume up and down toggle though, which is nice. :) As for a lot of the other little special functions, I don't know what they do, but I am going to repurpose them on AHK to do all kinds of stuff like mute my mic and start a zoom meeting. I just need to find out what key combos it does so that I am able to program them.
