I have a trick that I've done on a G9 and now this mouse, take the mouse feet off and sand the bottom flat with 20 grit sandpaper, cut about 2 grams, with potential for maybe 3 or 4 considering how much surface area you're impacting. You can take it down to your desired thickness.
@Beardedbob3 жыл бұрын
Nice trick.
@spdf36575 жыл бұрын
Another significant way to reduce weight would be to do away with the lithium battery and battery holder altogether, replacing them with a small button cell that could be held in place with foam/tape. This would save about 10g as the AAA lithium battery and its compartment weigh 13g together, and the button cell and a bit of foam/tape weigh only a few grams.
i feel like the holes on the sides can add extra grip because there is something for the "grooves" in your hands to grip onto

In my mouse I pushed the original contact spring a little bit, so any AAA battery fit perfectly. I decided to do that because sometimes with the aluminium foil the mouse stopped working (bad contact).
@Romulus843 жыл бұрын
I understand that you just stretched this spring at minus? There was no problem with that?
@pabloabugo3 жыл бұрын
@@Romulus84 It worked fine. The spring itself was very stiff, like some kind of stainless steel, so I needed to push it a little bit from every turn of the spring to make it even. Sometimes the AAA baterry "jumps" a little bit from the plus side, but not a problem for me. Like if I where to play a competition I would use a plastic adaptor. But for everyday use is very good and zero cost.

This my other account “John Smithens”. Another tip from a model guy if ya care.... You can amazon bits for ur dremel called “ceramic nail bits” they are ceramic and do not melt the plastic! This is how I was able to shave the inside bottom of my fk2 without having to cut holes on the bottom plate. This is what the nail salons use and unlike metal carbon bits the ceramic bits will not cut you at all! Now I also use the same type of drills the nail salons use because I can control RPM down to 0-30k this is a must for what we are doing. I’m not sure if Dremel has a speed control, but if it does then take a look at the bits you can thin out everything and no body would even know or reshape a mouse with “automotive bondo”! Ok ok I’ll shut up now! I’ll find a amazon link for the bits in a second

Not really, I mean you can feel the holes but it's like any other mouse with them from the factory.

can I pay someone to do this to mine put keep mouse wheel dpi button and side buttons? The g305 fits my hand so perfectly but I want a lighter mouse any mouse bigger doesn't work for me.
@widster96395 жыл бұрын
please answer: can I put my extra pair of finalmouse hyperglides on g305 or will it fuck up with the sensor
@Beardedbob5 жыл бұрын
Hi, they are both 0.7mm so you should be fine for LOD. The g305 has smaller skatez slots so you might need to cut the FM skatez to size or I would sand the g305 base skstez rig off if it was me as the g305 skatez are to small and narrow IMO and dig in on cloth.

If it is possible to cause any damage your hand would need to be pouring sweat/water and if that's the case you have bigger problems.

Hello, can you help me? I love make flicks whith sniper when I play shooters. but I also have to control my aim, and if I choose an extremely fast one I think it would be bad, although I am not sure how this is going at all. What mouse you know are good for me? I need mousepad 900x400 and if it can be soft cloth. Although I am open to suggestions. But I need your help please . Thanks

Have you decided on a mouse to go with the pad?
@midorihibiki5 жыл бұрын
Why everyone is trying to lower the weight of mice as much as possible. I can understand that if you using 400dpi the less weight the more you can swing the mice easier but seriously the resolution is going up to 2k-4k and even 8k in the future so try to use higher dpi such as 800-1600. I am using pbt Ducky Secret mouse about 120gram 800dpi Corsair MM350 mousepad and the control is fine, buying slippy smooth mousepad would help to increase the speed too. I have played CS franchise nearly 20 years from beta to today. If you play other fast games like quake or unreal, then 400dpi is not enough so adapt to higher DPI please. Moreover, playing with low resolution 4:3 in csgo is pretty funny. The graphic is so blur and it's just for the pros. If you're not going to go pro then you do not need to set up your configuration like pros. It hurts your eyes. I have Logitech MX158 old version (dead), G400, G403,Zowie Za 12 in my mice collection and after a lot of mice I think the shape and material used for building the mice are more important than the weight.

Light mouse is only useful for FPS games, if you play FPS a lot, just buy a GPX, that shape is better suited for FPS
